𝟬𝟵:𝟮𝟭, 𝗝𝗨𝗟𝗬 𝟱𝗧𝗛, 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟭
"OK, DARLING, ARE THE GIFTS PREPARED?" Narcissa yelled across the Malfoy Manor as she came out in an embroidered and laced black dress.
It was now June 5th. Though the baby girl was born on June 30th, the blood-adoption potion changed her birthday and records.
"Honey, I don't see a need as to why we must dress so. . ." Lucius paused to find the correct phrase, "formally?" he quickly paced out of the opposing room to face his wife and two children who were already sitting by the fireplace that was centred in the main room.
However, instead of giving her husband a direct answer, Narcissa replied with, "Oh, please, as if you don't dress formally every waking moment. I swear that when I'm not here, you sleep in that darn thing!" Narcissa laughed. Although she wasn't mistaken, she was merely exaggerating his love for suits. Lucius ignored his wife's remark and set himself by his two, now one-year-old twins and his black and blonde-haired lady, who was now cooing at the children enthusiastically.
"Ah, I see Draco's gotten. . . chubbier. Let's all hope it will wear off, hey?" Lucius, now disturbed by his son's weight, asked as Narcissa held him in her arms.
"Darling, this is merely baby fat! It's absolutely normal! How am I even married to you?!" She exclaimed while unbuttoning her shirt for Draco. Lucius only sighed and glanced at his daughter.
Lucius had grown quite attached to Marium even though she wasn't his blood daughter. He would always look out for her and supervise her sleeping. He already knew that Marium showed some traits of her real father, Tom Slytherin, which somehow made him quite disturbed. Tom wasn't considered Lucius' friend, but more like a master. He was his biggest server as if a clergyman; the two had a love-hate friendship and celebrating Tom's biological daughter's birthday was peculiar for a death eater. Hopefully in times to come, Lucius would feel natural around her.
The couple unwrapped the gifts bought for their children and joyfully handed them to watch the twins fiddle with it. Draco was given a charm of a snake on a silver chain which he instinctively pointed to his wrist so Narcissa could strap it on. Marium was given a pair of green-black leather gloves, fit for a baby's hand. The baby slotted her hands through them perfectly without assistance from her parents yet remained emotionless.
"Wow, she's able to slot them on herself! How remarkable! My little girl!" Narcissa exclaimed as she let out a bright and cordial smile, causing her husband to let out a small chuckle. Marium also let out a baby laugh which caused Draco to laugh again.
"Marium!" Draco exclaimed. Lucius and Narcissa's eyes widened with delight.
"He's made his first word! How precious!" Narcissa beamed.

Hi! Sorry for the short chapter. This is mainly a filler and to demonstrate how Lucius' relationship with Marium seems like. Hope you enjoyed it! I'll probably be doing more filler chapters on Marium timeline and life.
I also hope you like the name Marium, I don't believe that it's common as google docs don't believe it isn't a real name. 😀
