"HEY! DON'T FORGET TO DO THE HOMEWORK!" Marium scattered out of the Charms classroom and instantly made her way to the Great Hall where she'd meet Draco – who scampered out earlier. Before Charms, he claimed that he received the letter back from Father. About time. They had waited for two weeks to receive the crisp white envelope that covered the thin and scented parchment that reminded Marium of home. And to complete it, it had a red Malfoy stamp embedded on the front. Imagining this, she couldn't help but run and smile to the Great Hall, not caring about the odd faces and whispers from people. The hatstall is smiling! I've never seen her do that! Marium indistinctly heard. But she didn't care.

Marium finally felt relieved to be out of class and not bored. She was happy until an arm gripped her's and pulled her back.

"Malfoy!" the voice called. Marium frustratedly turned, only to flick her hair at the one and only brunette.

"What do you want Granger?" Marium strapped her loose bookbag back over her shoulder. She furrowed her eyebrows.

"I just want to be friends." Granger gave a slight smile. Repulsive.

"You really think that I'd be friends with a mudblood like you?" Marium cringed and made her way back to the Great Hall. Her expression instantly changed – almost drastically – when Granger didn't follow her. Yes!

Reaching the Great Hall that was filled with students completing homework, Marium's eyes darted from left to right, Slytherin table to Gryffindor, finding Draco. Then her eyes landed on the blonde who was at the Gryffindor table, chatting with Potter. Why did he have to be friends with that cocky arse?

"Draco?!" Marium waved her hands, exasperatedly trying to obtain her brother's attention. He waved back and waved at Potter, making his way to Marium.

"Hey, sis," Draco said, almost sweating, hands on his knees and dramatically breathing. A reason why he was horrible at Quidditch? This.

"Hey. So, letter?" Marium crossed her arms then scouted the Great Hall like a spy to see if everyone was staring. What? This was top-secret information.

"Yep. It's not much, but y'know. I guess he's helping." Draco handed Marium the envelope, and much to her disappointment, there was no red stamp on the front. But, gathering all her hope up for what was inside, Marium inhaled and began to unwrap the letter. She scattered through it faster than a mouse. A frickin' mouse. The letter was so short. The only information that was written was that he'd sort everything out after Yule when he becomes the governor.
