Philza softly snored, his head down on his desk, his energy drained from the entire day.

As he stirred in his sleep, strange things awakened within.

The past will bend and twist, altering the minds of all who remember.

Philza opened his eyes and found himself In his own mind. The black void.
The space that could be expanded as small or as big as the person pleased.

A place where reality could be altered into complete chaos and nonsense.
However with advantages, came their disadvantages.

The mind was a powerful place that could be full of voices that told you things that would change your way of thinking and could affect everyone around you.

Phil looked around as he took a single step. Suddenly, the scenery changed as Philza shut his eyes tight.

He opened one eye then the other followed and he looked around.

It seemed to be a luscious flower field. The wind swayed the grass as the flowers flashed their stunning vibrant color.

There stood a woman, one with gorgeous black hair. Her smile radiated every drop of sunlight as Phil's eyes widened.

There stood, wings of flame, stretched out, piercing golden eyes staring straight down on the woman.

The Legendary Phoenix, a creature told by many tales. Philza ran towards them and tried to push her out of the way, but instead, he went through.

Confused, he looked behind him, to see a conversation between the two. He listened closely.

"And why should I help you?" The bird questioned, it's tone harsh and it's eyes squinting slightly with disgust.

"I know that your flame is starting to burn out, I want to help you...."
He saw the Phoenix wings perk up and flinched at the woman's words.

"I know that boy you have looked over for months..." she said. She looked up at the bird with comforting eyes.
"You truly have a heart of gold..." she smiled.

The Phoenix was stunned and was speechless as her words. Phil jumped at the sudden voice that echoed throughout the land.

"Could she truly help me.....?" He heard just a back and forth debate, one with great curiosity and anticipation.
It just kept on going and eventually the Phoenix spoke.

"You are one intriguing human...." it said.
The woman just smiled brightly, a little soft giggle escaping her mouth.

"I'll take that as a compliment," she said. The Phoenix closed its eyes as the same echo boomed all over the place.

Philza just wondered why neither of them could hear it.

"Maybe I should...." The Phoenix opened its eyes as it stared into the woman's.

"You want to know about the little boy, correct?" the lady nodded. It sighed as it began speaking.

"I grow older everyday..I am weak...." he looked towards the woman.

"I cannot be reborn any longer...my time is coming far too soon..." he gazed behind him and looked out onto the many blooms of color that painted the view.

"However, I will not die off completely if they survive,"

it looked back at the lady and made eye contact.

"My blood flows through that child's veins...my bloodline resides in him...I won't be able to see him grow up though.."
tears streamed down the birds face. The woman looked up at him with a comforting smile.

"I can help, its what I cam here to do in the first place," she said. The Phoenix broke eye contact.

"There's a price to pay..." he said. "A price that someone like me can't even fix...." the voice echoed.

Philza raised an eyebrow.  What does he mean?

"I'm willing to pay it no matter what.." she said, a small smile on her face.

The Phoenix gazed down as its words broke.

"When you cross over to the other side...all who have encountered the young one....their memories will be erased...." he said. The woman let out a gasp.

Philza couldn't move.
He couldn't believe what he was hearing.

Forget their memories? How?!

"There's more however...." it said.
Suddenly, a piece of blue fell right beside Philza as he let out a yelp of surprise.

The world was falling apart. It was all crumbling. Soon, only the ringing of destruction could fill his ears. Soon the scenery disappeared from view.

He shot up and looked around, sweat dripping down his face.
He was still safe in office, surrounded by bookshelves, scattered papers, and a torch.
He stood up and walked to a bookshelf.

He pulled on one of the books, and a tiny pocket opened behind it.

It revealed a photograph, one that brought tears to Phil's eyes.

There in the portrait, stood the same woman, one who had meant the world to Phil.

He quietly sobbed as her smile of sunshine radiated off of the photo.

"Man, what does the brat have to do with any of this stuff anyway?" Sapnap grumbled.

He twisted a dagger around in his fingers, carefully maneuvering it to make sure he didn't cut himself.

"You remember the queens death?" He asked. Sapnap raised an eyebrow.

"Of course I do, I was the one who poisoned her,"
he said as he mindlessly kept on twirling the blade.

"Well, she was clearly showing signs of a certain illness, one that could only be achieved through a forbidden deal..." he said.

Sapnap stopped fidgeting with the blade and gripped the handle tightly. He felt shaky when he heard those words.

"Don't you dare try and bring that up again bastard...." He growled.
Dream formed a malicious smile under his mask.

"You really are a pussy, one word related to your f-"

"Dream, cut it out," George barked. Dream sighed.

"Anyway that poison I gave to, was quite a weak one and yet, she still died by it.
Meaning that her energy was incredibly drained from a bargain, a negotiation she made...."
George could feel the tension in the room between his two friends.

He wanted to try and settle it down but he didn't know how so he just kept quiet.

"All I know at the current moment, is that Tommy was part of the little deal she made.....her highness was quite an idiot...." He sneered.

"Now, let's discuss the plan..."
