(A/N) Wow, ok. This update took me a lot longer than I thought it would and yet it ended up bad anyways. My computer crashed and it didn't save so I had to redo it therefore making it awful. But anyways. Taylor and Amber's costumes are in the picture. I'll shut up now.
--------------------------------------------I stand still as Taylor ties my cape. I look at the cape that fell all the way to my ankles and smile, feeling like a little kid.
Taylor turns and struts across the room whipping her cape when she gets to the other end.
I laugh. "What are you doing?" I ask bending over with laughter.
"I'm practicing the walk I'm gonna use when I walk in and own the party." She says strutting back over to me. "You gotta practice too." She says whipping her cape back around and going back across my room.
I didn't see a reason I shouldn't, so I turn and follow her to the other end of my room. She begins laughing at me and I fall into hysterics as well, considering the fact that I probably looked ridiculous.
"You aren't doing it right." She says still laughing. She makes her way back to the other end of my room doing various twirls as she does so. I follow her attempting to do the same, but then trip over my cape and fall to the ground, laughing to the end of my sanity.
Taylor falls to her knees laughing at my obvious fail. At the moment, the likely end of my life wasn't on my mind.
"We need to go, come on. Get up." She says still laughing. The end of my life was back on my mind. I sigh and get up from the floor.
Taylor gets up from the ground and dusts off her cape. She looks over at me and straightens it some.
After she's done she runs past me, her own cape flying behind her, and I knew that's what she was going for. "Hurry up!" She says and I can hear her hurriedly rushing down the stairs.
I look back at my bed as if I could fall in love with it, and give on sad whip of my cape before walking downstairs.
Once I get to the bottom I see my mother standing there with her hand held out. Her keys were in it.
I was driving to the party because my mother apparently had better things to do.
As I walk by her I give her a small, half hug taking the keys from her hand.
"Don't wreck my car." She says seriously.
What went through my head was, 'well if you would just get me a godforsaken car then I wouldn't be remotely able to crash yours,' but what I say is, "Yes ma'am. I won't. Thank you."
Taylor and I walk out to my mom's car, my mom following us to it. She gives us the standard 'no drugs' speech and we nod, agreeing.
After telling me various times to be careful while I was driving, my mom went back inside the house and I close my door, starting the car. I put in the directions to Niall's house, which was on the opposite side of town, on my phone and pull out of the driveway.
*******
I swear up and down, you could hear the music a block away. As I pull around the corner I see cars lining the side of the streets.
"That is not for this party, is it?" I ask to no one in particular because I don't think Taylor was really listening and there was no one else in the car.
"Yeah, I think it is. Niall says there's a spot in the yard though." Taylor says looking at all the cars. As I drive farther up the road the music gets louder.
"You have reached your destination." Siri says.
"No, Siri, really? I didn't know." Taylor says sarcastically looking at the large home on the left side of the street. I could feel the car vibrating from where we had almost come to a stop at on the road.
