(3rd Person POV)

Wilbur put a hand on Tubbo's shoulder. Tubbo looked up at him and hugged him.

Wilbur was shocked though. He had thought that Tubbo now hated him for lying. But here he is. Hugging him and crying.

Sally walked over to the two. "I'm so sorry, Tubbo. I wanted to tell you." Tubbo saw her then immediately clinged to her. She stroked his hair and whispered comforting words to him.

"S-So... That's it? W-We've won the war, right?" Tommy asked. Sally glared at the child. He gulped.

"Yeah, Schlatt's dead. You have Manberg back. You've won." Dream answered. What Sally found strange was that there was no trace of bitterness is Dream's voice.

No bitterness. No anger. Nothing. It seems as though Dream was completely fine with the defeat. But that's uncharacteristic. Sally found it very strange.

"W-Wait, so who is-"

"There was no traitor. I lied. I was just trying to make you scared."

Or right. The traitor. The traitor that, Sally assumed, to be Wilbur. She was almost confident that it was Wilbur.

"What? There's no traitor?" Wilbur asked in disbeleif. Even he was so sure that he was the one betraying all his friends.

"There's no traitor. I lied."

"I thought I was... Okay, sure." Careful, Wil. Almost fucked up there.

"W-We won... We won! Tubbo, we won!" Tommy looked at Tubbo. Who was still crying in Sally's arms. He just barely calmed down.

Sally gave another glare to Tommy's direction. Tommy ignored her and continued to attempt to get Tubbo's attention "Tubbo? Tubbooo? Tubster? Tub? Tubzo? Big Law? Big Crime? Bee boy? Big man? Tubboooo?"

Tubbo had enough and snapped "Shut up, Tommy!" Then immediately regretted it upon seeing his friends face. "I-I mean... Yeah, we won. That's great, Tommy." Tommy then smiled widely and ran to Wilbur.

Tubbo stayed by Sally. Who was very concerned for him. "You know you're allowed to mourn? You don't have to pretend to be happy when you're not." She told him. "I don't want Tommy to think im not happy for this victory. I am but... The sadness kinda just overcame me..."

She didn't really know what to say to that, so Sally just hugged the boy. Then they both noticed that everyone was walking out of the van, so they followed suit.

They were walking to the podium. Sally thought that Wilbur was gonna do a whole speech that they took back L'manberg. She hoped that he would keep his promise.

But instead, Tommy was the one to run to the podium. The rest sat on the chairs. Tubbo stayed close to Sally. The reason being unknown to the woman.

Then Tommy gave his speech. Sally tuned it out. She was overcome with alot of emotions. Happiness, because she knows that Wilbur is happy aswell. Sadness, for Tubbo. Anger, because Wilbur isn't keeping his promise. And a plethora of other different emotions that was making her head hurt.

Also a feeling that something bad something definately going to happen in the next hour. She just can't shake that off. She tried her best to ignore it.

What brought her attention back to the real world was the fact that Wilbur was walking up to the podium. Oh, now was she angry. She searched for Technoblade in the crowd and finally spotted him. His eyes were narrow.

They were both promised the same thing. The total desotruction of the government. They weren't aware that after that, Wilbur would be making another one.

Sally was glaring at her husband as he walked up the podium. He could feel her anger. He gulped quietly. Then he positioned himself infront of the stand.

"I have something to say. Look, I'm gonna keep this brief."

He turned his head to Tommy. "Tommy, your only decree as president happened to be one of best decrees you could ever make."

He turned back to the audience. "Welcome to L'manberg everyone! L'manberg. And so in keeping with the theme, I'm also gonna make a change."

He pointed to the orange and black flag. "That flag over there. That one. The black and orange one. Srap it. That is not the flag of our nation. Our national flag is yellow, black, red, white, and blue. That's one of the first things I want changed."

"However, I also cannot be your president." Sally raise her eyebrow at Wilbur. "Why?" Tubbo asked from beside her.

"I wanted to..." He trailed off. He looked down in shame before looking back up. "Techno, Sally. You two have taught me alot. You both have taught me that government isn't the way to go, and I agree with both of you. Everything both of you said. I completely agree with all of it."

Sally smiles at Wilbur while Techno just stares blankly, eyes no longer narrow. Wilbur continued "And to be honest, I feel like whilst I can't be here to judge how other people's governments are run, I can say that it would be hypocritical of me to run a government. So, I need to hand off the presidency to someone else."

Why not just have no president?
Was Sally's mental question.

Wilbur wasn't done yet "It's important to know how to say goodbye to a nation. To my L'manberg. And there's only one person who could possible be president."

She considered the options that Wilbur has.

Quackity, he did run for the election and he definately has his ideals but sometimes when a situation is serious he still jokes around.

Then there's Fundy, he would definately be a good leader, he'd consider people's feelings before doing something. The problem would be of people actually would listen to him.

And then Niki, she definately had the qualities of a good leader. She's very kind and considerate so, like Fundy, she would consider people's feelings before doing something. She's also very fierce when she wants to be. But she has the same problem as Fundy. Would people actually listen to her? Everyone always dismisses Niki as weak and naive. Not to mention the fact that she's a woman and some people are incredibly sexist.
