Glad I Went (Leah Rilke)

Y/N and Leah are introduced by their friends and begin dating. Soon, Y/N asks Leah to be her girlfriend.

"Come on, Leah, stop mopping. it's going to be fun. Toni even has a certain someone she wants to introduce you to. Y/N's perfect for you," Fatin tells Leah. 

The pair of best friends/roommates are walking across campus to a party that Fatin convinced Leah to attend, hoping her friend will hit it off with one of Toni's basketball teammates, who is also her roomate. Leah hasn't really been with anyone since Jeff, going on dates occasionally but never really hitting it off with someone. 

"Fine, but we are leaving if I'm not having a good time," Leah sighs.

"Deal," Fatin agrees as they approach the door to the sorority where the party is being hosted.

Once inside, Fatin pulls Leah over to find Toni, who is lounging on a sofa talking with Shelby, who is sitting on her lap, and a girl with Y/E/C and Y/H/C. The stranger glances up as the two approach and smiles at Leah. Leah's heart does a flip in her chest. 

"Hey guys. Leah, this is Y/N Y/L/N/ Y/N, this is Leah Rilke," Toni introduces. 

Needless to say, Leah and Y/N get along quite well. By the end on the night, they are leaning on the front porch deep in conversation. Y/N says something to make Leah laugh, and their eyes meet. Cupping Leah's check in her hand, Y/N leans in and kisses her. Leah kisses her back, loving the way Y/N kisses her softly, yet passionately. They break apart for air, resting their foreheads together.

"Go out with me?" Y/N asks.

"Yes," Leah nods, leaning in to kiss Y/N once more.

After they have been dating for about a month, Y/N decides she wants to ask Leah to be her girlfriend. They have plans at 2 pm to play a game of Monopoly in Leah's room, but it is only 1 pm. Y/N has been pacing nervously for the past few minutes, driving Toni, who is sitting on her bed, crazy.

"Dude, chill out. She's going to say yes," Toni sighs, tossing a pillow at Y/N.

"But what if she doesn't?" Y/N groans worridley as she sinks down on Toni's bed.

"She looks at you like you put the stars in the sky and all that cheesy shit. She will say yes, and you need to chill before you pace a hole in the floor," Toni replies.

"Fine, fine. Want to watch some Netflix? I'll even let you choose," Y/N offers. 

"Hell yeah," Toni nods.

Toni ends up picking a random sports movie. It finishes just in time for Y/N to head to Leah's. Y/N grabs her Monopoly game and backpack before heading to Leah's dorm. She knocks on the door, a grin crossing her face as Leah opens it.

"Hey there, cutie," Y/N greets.

"Hi," Leah blushes, stepping aside to let Y/N inside.

They set up the game of Monopoly. Leah chooses the boot while Y/N chooses the top hat for pieces. The game goes rather quickly for Monopoly as Y/N isn't the best at it, and Leah wins. After, they cuddle up on Leah's bed, Leah wrapped up in Y/N's arms.

"Hey Leah?" Y/N questions.

"Yeah?" Leah replies, turning to look at Y/N.

"Be my girlfriend?" Y/N asks.

"I'd love to," Leah smiles.

Y/N grins at Leah and leans in to kiss her lovingly. As Leah runs her fingers through Y/N's Y/H/C hair, she thinks to herself that she is very glad that she ended up attending the party that faithfull night.
