I've Missed You So Much (Lena Luthor)

Y/N can't sleep without Lena, who is on a work trip, by her side. When Lena finally returns, she comes back to a sleep deprived Y/N. Short and sweet. 

Y/N sighs as she rolls over for the millionth time that hour. It's been a week since Lena left on her business trip, and since the, Y/N hasn't been able to sleep well at all without her beloved wife by her side. Y/N decides to go watch some TV, hoping it will lure her to sleep. 

She lays on the sofa and pulls a blanket over herself, turning on the TV to a random nature show. It doesn't do anything to help her sleep, and she groans in frustration. She longs to be able to be wrapped up in Lena's warm embrace, to hear the raven haired woman whisper sweet nothings to her as they both drift off to sleep. 

Suddenly, Y/N sits bolt upright as she hears a key begin to unlock the door. A tired smile comes across her face as Lena enters the apartment. Y/N wasn't expecting her until the next evening, but Lena has decided to come home early and surprise her wife. Lena is surprised to see Y/N still awake.

"Hey baby. It's late. I thought you would be asleep," Lena greets as she kicks off her shoes.

"Weren't you supposed to come back tomorrow night? Not that I'm not happy to see you," Y/N yawns.

"I figured I would surprise you. You look exhausted, my love. Are you alright?" Lena questions.

"I'm so tired, Lee. I haven't been sleeping well since you left," Y/N replies.

"Aw sweetie. Let me change into some pajamas and then we'll go to bed, okay?" Lena questions.

Y/N nods and yawns again. Lean quickly changes into a pair of silk pajamas and returns to the couch. She scoops Y/N up bridal style, smiling softly as Y/N snuggles into her, and carries her to their bed. The moment Lena sets her down, covering her with a blanket and wrapping her arms around her, Y/N drifts off to sleep. Lena places a soft kiss on her wife's forehead before falling asleep as well, Y/N safe and sound in her arms at last.
