Celeste

Chapter 4.

Celeste and Lawrence awoke, sleepy and unaware.
"Morning," mumbled Lawrence, sitting up to stretch his long lanky legs.
"Hmmm," said Celeste, who rolled over, stood up and yawned loudly.
"What's next? The bank?" Lawrence questioned.
"No, no, much to risky. Why don't we lay low for the day, just take a couple of things from the smaller less important shops. Did you see the headlines last week? Our crime was all over the front page," laughed Celeste. "We didn't get caught though," she said shoving Lawrence in the side playfully.
"Yeah, I know," replied Lawrence. "Those guys who are usually down at the poker club did. It's so funny, as they haven't committed any crimes for about twenty years. Do you think Alyssa will try to tell the police?
"No way, she knows what we would do to her if she did," Celeste replied with a smirk playing across her face.

Lawrence rubbed off a smudge of dirt on his face and yawned once again. Celeste looked up into the sky and and sighed. There was so many places to rob, but so little time. Her thoughts wondered off, remembering Ralph. He was going to be doing the right thing, until he though he was doing the wrong thing. He helped criminals escape without knowing. Stupid Alyssa she should have been more informative about the situation. I wasn't complaining, I would have been in jail if it hadn't been for Ralph letting us escape without realising we were the bad guys.

Back with Alyssa, sat Ralph.

"HOW COULD YOU HAVE BEEN SO STUPID?" Alyssa screamed, furiously.
"I-I didn't know," stammered Ralph, backed up against the concrete wall of the building Celeste and Lawrence had left the evening before.
"You better fix this. Surely you would have thought there was a reason for me to keep them hostage," she hissed.
"Well I didn't know. It's not my fault you didn't tell me they were criminals and they were responsible for the death of those two innocent people back in February last year, that they were the people who robbed twenty-seven different banks all over the world and they were probably now planning to rob our local bank." Replied Ralph, fuming with anger.
"No, your right I didn't tell you that, but by this stage I really thought you would have learnt that it is a idiotic idea to go around letting loose hostages,"
"I told you before. I DIDN'T KNOW THEY WERE CRIMINALS!!!' Ralph raged, the anger getting the better of him.
"Do not speak to me like that," Alyssa roared, standing up and stomping towards Ralph. "You'll be sorry for what you just did. You better get out of here before I fetch my gun," she roared once again.

Alyssa glared at Ralph. Ralph stood frozen, panicked, but trying to hide it. Alyssa stepped forward and Ralph decided it was a good time to leave.
