The police were investigating the scene, where Celeste and Lawrence had escaped from. Lines and lines of police tape was strung around the gates of the bank. A few passers by stopped to look at the ongoing commotion. The police quickly ushered them away and re-directed the traffic.

Celeste and Lawrence kept walking, through the thick brush.

"Lawrence, where are we going?" Celeste whimpered quietly.
"I don't know, but we need to find a vehicle, and we need to leave the country before we are caught by someone. We need to make our money last, we can only by the most necessary items, no big things, otherwise we will draw to much attention to ourselves and that will get us caught." Replied Lawrence.

Hearing all of this was like a heavy weight being brought down on Celeste's shoulders.

"I'm so sorry I ever brought you into all of this. I should have told you I was a criminal before you married me," Celeste said, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"I didn't tell you either, it's okay. We can get through this. We just need to get through the tough times to see the good ones. We'll be back raiding banks before you know it." Lawrence said, his soothing voice rang out.
"I-I don't think I want to do it anymore, bank raiding and all. It's making me feel so guilty. Why don't we just plead guilty and give them back the money, then we can live normally again?" Celeste said, looking up at Lawrence.
"No!" Lawrence boomed, his calming voice replaced with a deep hatred. "I am not pleading guilty, and neither are you,"
"But why?" Celeste questioned.
"Because... It doesn't matter. You do as I say or I'll kill you!"

The air was suddenly thick with suspense. Celeste stepped away from Lawrence.

"Scream and I'll shoot," Lawrence glowered, raising the gun towards Celeste.
"I thought we were in this together," stuttered Celeste, "you and me forever?"
"Not anymore, you're mine, I'm not yours. You do as I say or you die. Got that?"
"Yes, Lawrence," said Celeste, a large fat tear fell from her eye.

All she could think was...

This is the end...
