Celeste began to think of all the places Lawrence could possibly be.
The police station (most likely)
Still shopping (most unlikely)
He's left me and fled the country (possible, but obscene)
She had never felt more alone, if she did go to see where Lawrence had gone, she would most definitely be caught. She couldn't just sit around though, could she? She still wanted to tell the police there whereabouts and plead guilty. What if Lawrence wasn't there, he would kill her. Then a thought came to her mind, her brain switched on like a lightbulb, maybe I could find out where he is another way. If he has been caught by the police, his name is bound to make the front page of the newspaper. She would just have to wait a little while to get one...
