Celeste

Chapter 9.

On the 30th of October 2015, two weeks after the bank raid, Celeste and Lawrence had departed the country and were now hiding somewhere in the mountains of Indonesia. Not the safest of location, but they were very well hidden and discreet. Lawrence was still threatening to kill Celeste, if she ever ratted them out to the police.

The police had finished all of the investigations of the bank. All of the evidence found pointed directly to Lawrence and Celeste.

The most recent newspaper report read;

All evidence uncovered from the bank, referring to the bank raid on the 16th of October, has found us our criminals. The young couple that were thought to have been the culprits, is now confirmed.
Money rewards will be given to anyone who has information about the pair or knowledge of there whereabouts.

Celeste lived in fear of what would happen if she told the police or if the police found them. Lawrence did not believe they would ever be found, but the thought was always there in the back of Celeste's mind.

Lawrence forced her to do all the cleaning, scavenging for food and she was also forced to keep a look out for any people, every single night. She was exhausted and sleepy all the time, and when Lawrence ever caught her falling asleep, he would cut her food amounts permanently. Celeste had lost all of her courage and now she was too weak and skinny to be able to fight back. The best she could do was to just do what she was told.
