(Barbara's POV)
I'm sitting on a bench in the Mondstadt Cathedral, just like every morning when I don't have much to do. I yawn and close my eyes, quietly humming something. I hear the Cathedral door open and quickly open my eyes to look around to see a familiar face.
"Honorary Knight, good morning!" I stand up and walk over to her. "What brings you here this early?"
"Morning Barbara, it's nice to see you again." She says and smiles at me, I smile back.
"Were you Looking for someone? If yes then I'm sorry but I'm the only one who comes here at this time already." I look down and scratch the back of my head.
"I was Looking for you, actually."
"Huh?" I say in surprise, Looking up at her. "Uhm.. Why would you look for me?"
"I'm going to go to Liyue for this years Lantern Rite tomorrow and I thought you might wanna come along..!" She says with hope in her eyes.
"I- I would love to but I can't just leave the Cathedral for a few-" I try to say, but Lumine interrupts me. "No no it's fine you deserve a vacation! I even asked Jean already and she said the same Thing."
"Big sis- Master Jean said it's okay?"
It'd be rude to not accept this invite, besides.. "I've never been to Liyue before and Lantern rite sounds like a beautiful Event."
"So you'll come? That's amazing!" She says and suddenly hugs me "It's gonna be fun I promise."
"LUMINE WAIT FOR ME!" I'm surprised to hear Paimon's voice and she Pops through the door. "Oh, Hi Barbara! Are you coming to Lantern Rite with us?" She looks at me with the same hopeful look as Lumine.
"Yes, the Honorary Knight asked me already." Paimon happily does a Salto, wich makes me giggle.
"So I'll meet you here tomorrow morning?" Lumine asks.
"Sure, I can't wait!" I Reply with a wide smile on my face.
"See you tomorrow then!" "See you tomorrow Barbara!" They say as they leave the Cathedral.
The whole day I couldn't stop smiling.
