"Robin! What's wrong?" Chrom furrowed his brow.
Robin remembered now. That to save Chrom's reputation, he wasn't allowed to say what happened.
"A flash of my memory came to me...It frightened me. I apologize." he said softly.
"Do you remember anything?" he raised his voice.
He saw Sumia glare at him, he swallowed hard.
"Since it was storming, I decided to make sure nobody was planning a surprise attack. I let my guard down when I thought I saw someone in the distance, and I was attacked. It was foolish of me, and it's my fault."Sumia's glare turned into a smile.
"But you're scared of storms!" he cried out, "You should know better than to go out on your own!"
"I'm sorry, Chrom."
He ran his hand down his face in frustration, "It's all right. What matters is you're here now. I'll have Frederick carry you to your own tent so you can rest there, okay? I absolutely don't want you moving around. We'll have to camp here until you're better."
"Alright." he responded.

"Chrom, I have a new condition for keeping your relationship with Robin a secret." Sumia walked over to him, sitting down.
"Oh gods, what is it?"
"I absolutely forbid you from seeing Robin on your own. Until he's better, at least." she cracked her knuckles. "And you will obey me or else everyone will know."
"That's absurd, I need to be able to check on him at least once a day."
"And you can!...As long as you have either me or Frederick with you."
"There's really no way out of this?"
"Nope."
"You're a monster."
"Thank you, dear."

It was late, Robin sat up in his bed. His side was throbbing, he felt sick to his stomach. "I can't keep putting myself through this..." he muttered. "I have to tell Chrom what's going on." He got on his feet, stumbling a bit. Every step he took hurt, he knew everything was going to change. If he didn't tell Chrom, Sumia would probably end up strangling him while he slept.
He walked out of his tent, the cool air hitting his face. It was dark outside.Robin took a few steps before slumping down in the dirt. "Damn it.." he muttered, clutching his side. He could scream for help, but Sumia would probably find him first. He crawled instead to Chrom's tent on all fours, stopping every few feet to rest.
Finally, he reached the tent. He crawled inside before his arms gave out, he fell.
The sound alerted Chrom and he quickly noticed Robin. He jumped out of bed and picked him up, trying to be quiet.
"Robin! What are you doing here?" he whispered.
"Chrom...I.." he was tired, he rested in Chrom's arms for a bit before speaking.
"I couldn't talk since Sumia was here...but...she did this to me. She said it'd keep me in bed so we couldn't see each other. I-I agreed, so nobody would find out about our relationship...but this has gone too far. I almost died...!" tears started to fall down his cheeks.
Chrom wiped his tears quickly, holding him in a tight embrace.
"Tomorrow...We will kick Sumia from the Shepherds. Tomorrow...I'll tell everybody what she did, and I'll tell everyone and their damned mother that I love you. I don't care who knows. I shouldn't have cared from the start. I'm sorry you went through all of this..." he clutched Robin's clothes, putting his head on his shoulders.
"I swear to you that I'll protect you, Robin. Tomorrow you'll see that I love you more than anything."
Robin sobbed into Chrom's shoulder. Chrom held him tightly.
"T-Thank you...Chrom.."
