Seth

"No, I won't sit here for two hours and watch that garbage!" I argued with Lily.

"Come on!! It's an awesome movie!"

Lily and I were sitting in the packhouse living room. We sat on mattresses the three of us laid in front of the huge TV. We added a bunch of blankets and pillows and made tons of snacks and popcorn.

I loved those hangouts.

After my father betrayed the pack I lost everything I had.

He was a high-ranked warrior who traded strategy and war tactics with our neighbor enemy pack, Full Moon.

The Alpha decided to send him to exile and let me and my mom stay and turn to Omegas.

My mom lost her job as a teacher and had to work as a cleaning lady in the packhouse. We lost our house and had to move to a crappy apartment that we could barely afford. The people I used to call friends deserted me, didn't want their names to be associated with my own.

I could handle all of that, I found a job to help my mom with the bills and I got used to the loneliness.

That's until I saw my mate in the library and got rejected on sight.

I was crushed, I couldn't go on. Ira my wolf and I lost all will to keep fighting with life. I wanted all the misery to end.

After my mate rejected me I collapsed in the back of the library. I thought that no one will care if I just stop breathing and die at that very moment.

Robin found me there.

She helped me get to the pack hospital and stayed by my bedside even though she didn't know me. I told her about my father and she should go if she didn't want to harm her reputation.

"Fuck'um, reputation is overrated," she told me.

She even fought a nurse that didn't want to tend to me because of who I was and complained to the Delta about her treatment.

We became friends then and there.

She showed me kindness that no one showed me since my father's betrayal.

Then I got to meet Lily.

I was skeptical about her at first because of her status, but I discovered a true friend too.

Lily got her father to send word to the whole pack about Omegas' mistreatment and it got my mom her old job back. Even some of my old friends came to apologize to me for their behavior but I dismissed them away.

I now live with my mom in a new apartment and have two amazing true friends. I didn't need anything more.

Except for my mate.

The rejection cost me my health and every now and then I get really sick. I try not to think about the whole thing, but the love of your life is a hard thing not to think about.

"Jane Air is a fine writer, I'll give her that, but six women going through puberty is not my idea of an awesome movie!" Sometimes I forget my two best friends are little women themselves.

"Don't be a but head!! Pweassssseeee!!"

And one of them didn't finish puberty herself.

"Let's let Robin decide", I suggested. You would think I'll be outnumbered in every situation like this, but Robin isn't a girly girl as one will think.

"Speak of the devil, where have you been?" Lily looked past my shoulder. I turned around to see Robin. Her mood uplifted from when she left for the bathroom half an hour ago.
