Aiden

I didn't want to wake up.

I held the warm pillow I was holding closer. I was never one to cuddle pillows in my sleep, but this one felt really nice to hold.

My ears adjusted to conciseness to hear another heartbeat outside of mine.

Oh... no...

That's not a pillow...

Was I that drunk yesterday that I stayed the night? I don't even remember going home with someone...

My eyes opened slowly to see the unfamiliar room. I took a deep breath of air with my nose only to smell her amazing scent. Only with her scent came my memories.

Her even breaths and really slow heartbeat showed she was really deep in sleep.

The room was almost completely dark, it got a little light from the TV we accidentally left on, but it too was really dim as only a small red error sign was displayed.

As if sensing I woke up she snuggled closer to me, making my chest rumble.

Suddenly I was really aware of our position.

Robin laid on me almost entirely. Her shirt went a little up because of my hands' desperate need to contact the skin on her back, her breasts pressed against my chest with only two layers of thin fabric separating between them. Her smooth soft legs were tangled with mine, her cute nose rubbed my shirt, my lips grazed her forehead...

It was heaven, the bond dancing around us, celebrating our surrender to it.

I noticed the clock showing it was a little after nine PM. We slept for at least thirteen hours.

Oh shit, how tired were we?

I started rubbing her back and playing with her soft hair, looking at her resting form.

"Hmm..." Robin let out a little satisfactory sound, responding to my touch.

It was like this for a while, her warmth causing me to drift in and out of sleep, again and again, never wanting this to end.

It was so peaceful. It felt so natural.

Ruining our moment was a sudden loud bang at our door, causing Robin to jump.

She immediately sat up. Her breath was itching from a sudden end to her deep sleep.

She looked at the door and then at me, dizziness still in her eyes.

Robin got up from bed and walked to the door. She opened it with force

"What?!" She was clearly mad at whoever woke her up. By the smell of it, it was a vampire.

"The king wanted to give you this to the ball." I heard the voice beyond the door saying, although I didn't see him or what he gave Robin.

I heard her slam the door in his face and saw her carrying a box to our room.

She threw it annoyingly on some table in my eyesight, turned on a small lamp, and opened the box.

Robin looked at it and was silent for a minute. Her annoyance turned to anger.

"Mother fu..." She murmured as she face-palmed herself. She then threw the lid of the box to the floor and crossed her arms.

Robin then looked at me. I was still in the bed watching the whole exchange, slightly hoping she will want to come back to sleep.

Her face softened, she dropped her arms. She looked at the clock with surprise and then again at me, this time with a little sadness.

"The ball starts at eleven, we should get ready."
