They were holding each other tight.

The vampire kid, referred to by Robin as Zack, kissed her forehead as tears fell on both their faces.

Putting aside the shock, heavy tension was in the air. The vampires who stood behind the kid witnessed the event, ready to pounce as if a fight was about to start. The werewolves behind Robin, me, and the king also took things as a sign of trouble.

"STAND DOWN! ALL OF YOU!" The kid shouted, not letting go of Robin.

I felt anxious, seeing Robin wrapped in some bloodsucker's hands, with his face so close to her nack... Phan was losing it.

They finally broke their hug but didn't let each other go.

All of a sudden, Robin was furious.

A loud hard sound was heard as her hand came in contact with his face.

Robin slapped him.

It was so hard he fell to the ground.

It's like the worst telenovela I had ever seen. Why the fuck every where that woman goes drama follows.

The vampires snarled as the werewolf growled, the only thing that stopped all of us from a fight was that Zack kid holding his hand up in a fist and his other on his cheek, preventing the vampires to advance.

I tried to hide my smile, It was a really satisfying slap.

"Definitely deserved that one..." The kid murmured as he went back on his feet.

"I thought you were dead, you fucking selfish asshole!!" Robin screamed at him, shoving him.

"I am so--" The kid didn't have a chance to speak.

"I went to that stupid tree every year! I thought I lost you, I grieved you!!! How truly evil and selfish can you be for letting me think you died all of those years! We had a fucking plan, Zack!! You said--"

"I know what I said!!!" The kid finally interrupted.

"I couldn't go! I had scouts saying they found proof you were dead. You knew you were going to pay heavily for me to live, you are the selfish one!" They both were crying heavily.

Zack then noticed Robin shaking.

"I NEED A FUCKING BLANKET! NOW!" He shouted at the vampires behind them. They all jumped and shook in fear. Two seconds later one vampire gave Zack a blanket and cowered away.

The kid wasted no time, he opened it and wrapped it around her.

"I promised I will always take care of you, I still intend to uphold it." He whispered in her ear but all of us could hear him, whispering is quite useless when everyone has a supernatural hearing.

When he said that Phan and I decided we had enough. I was about to go over there and get that kid's sleazy hands off of her when the king signed me to stand down as if sensing my rage.

He walked over there himself.

"I hate to break your moment but I think you guys have some explaining to do." The king spoke. Robin tried to take a step back but the kid held her tight and didn't let her move.

I growled at the act.

"Let her go," I spoke lowly in a threatening tone.

The vampires from behind the couple snarled at me.

The kid made his first eye contact with me.

The son of a bitch first showed surprise, and then he smirked.
