All of it was new to Colette.

The way River's body was pressing against hers, the way his lips moved roughly against hers, the way his hands skimmed over her bare skin- it was all new. She wished she had words to describe the ecstatic emotions she was feeling, but she truly didn't.

River and her were at a level they had never been before- physically, sexually. Nothing had ever led to sex, neither of them had ever initiated it, but what they were doing was just as greatly satisfying.

Not that Colette had anything better to compare it to.

And the great 'I love you' had remained unspoken. She found it childish the way they were both avoiding it, as if talking about it would burn down their houses. But neither of them seemed to have the courage to talk about it......so they didn't.

Presently, Colette was pressed against her bedroom wall by River's body, his lips hovering over hers, their hands roaming each other's bodies with no hesitation. They were both half-naked: River had taken off Colette's shirt after she did his with such ease, she couldn't help but wonder how many times he had done it before.

But River's previous sex life was a conversation for another day.

He gripped her waist, pulling her away from the wall and slowly leading her to her bed, his lips connected to hers all the while. Colette jumped into the bed, River getting on top of her and using his elbows to support himself. He kissed her deeply and passionately, their tongues dancing together rhythmically.

Breaking the kiss, he moved to her neck, trailing kisses down it and then moving to the back of her ear. She moaned softly and could hear his breathing rate increase at the sound of it.

Letting go of her ear, he went back down to her neck. But that day, he went further down, further down than Colette was expecting. From her neck to her collarbone to finally pressing his lips to her cleavage, he made her moan with pleasure. Her fingers tightly gripped his hair strands as he nibbled the area. His fingers went up to her bra strap, pulling it down her arm. He was about to pull down the other when-

"Colette, have you seen my-" Niki stopped deadpanned in the doorway at the sight of them, a horrified look spreading across her face.

Colette held back the urge to groan loudly, but River did it for instead.

Niki quickly left the room, closing the door behind her.

River fell onto the bed beside Colette, rolling his eyes. "Why does she always have to interrupt us?" He groaned in frustration and she mentally agreed.

She would never admit it to him though.

The both of them always argued about stuff, constantly forcing her to take either's side but she always remained neutral. If she even came as close as to admitting that either was annoying to the other, they would automatically assume that she was on their side and then shove that fact down the other's throat.

Weirdos.

What a good moment ruined.

They were going to the next next level, God knew what else River was planning on doing, and now she was never going to know.

Plus, her best friend had walked in on her and her boyfriend literally fore playing, which made things terribly awkward. What was she going to say to Niki?

She was sure River had no problem talking to Niki like nothing ever happened, that guy was practically shameless.

Confident, he would've said.
