We strive for familiarity but crave uncertainty

Is it faulty?

To crave something unfamiliar? Is it a sin?

To crave something what you thought was out of reach?

To crave something you thought you didn't deserve?

"Forward," my mind telling me over and over again

Every time I thought of you, it kept telling me to forget you

It's sad how we never get what we want

How we accept unwanted, unexpected lies

How it shouldn't have been a lie

How it was avoidable

At times I look back, I ask myself what I could've done wrong

And why you weren't telling me anything

Was I at fault?

Am I at fault?

Now I carry the burden of leaving

The burden of only wanting something more for myself

The burden to be the motivation of your change

The burden of you being better for someone else

and even if you offered yourself to me multiple times over again

I can't trust you anymore

You've broken me far too many times

I wish you the best in life

I hope you find the one

I hope time takes us somewhere we belong
