31. Boss

The eyes of all those present turned to the person who was just standing in the door.

All the high ranked members of the league sat at a long table. At the very end there was a huge, even empty, chair. Then, to his left, an empty space. Shigaraki sat on the right. Next to the empty chair sat a green-haired young man who could be identified as Deku.

There was a gap next to Shigaraki's and Deku's place. The other members were placed as their rank would allow.

On Deku's side sat the leaders of projects and groups. On Shigaraki's side, sat the direct subordinates of the respective counterpart.

This seating arrangement was clear and simple for everyone, but what surprised many was that Shigaraki was not sitting next to his master as usual and that he was on the side of the subordinates.

The newcomer did not care in the least about Shigaraki's place.
The stranger dropped casually into the square across from the man with the many hands.

A 'Sound Only' screen was behind the huge chair.
"Now that we are all complete, I will come too!" The voice on the screen meant. Shock spread among those standing by. Many of them had never seen the Master in person.

A black mass covered the chair. When it slowly disappeared again, a man was sitting there. His face was covered by a black mask, his aura was dangerous and his voice threatening.

"The time has come today. I will announce my successor." Spoke All for One

Immediately murmurs spread. After that, many stared at those who were sitting closest to the Sensei.

"There are only three people who could do this job." Slowly, All for One built an exciting mood.

"Tomura Shigaraki or Tenko Shimura, you were the leader of the League of Villains for a long time. I watched you for a long time and made up my mind."
Shigaraki fixed his wide eyes on those of  Master.
"Izuku Midoriya and Akira Shimura have always supported you. Before they were here, you couldn't do anything by yourself. That's why I decided against bequeathing my strength to you. Tenko Shimura, you are no longer the leader of the League of Villains!"
All for One raised his hand and Shigaraki floated, gripped by the neck.

The former leader grabbed his neck and only stopped floating when he got hold of a necklace.
He tore the necklace off his body. It was the symbol of the leader of the league. It was a silver necklace with a phoenix engraved on it.

Gasping for air, the villain layed on the ground. The still unknown person ran up to him. The hood from the head of the person fell down and showed the beautiful blue, silver hair and the mask.

The girl bent down to her brother and helped him up. In a bad mood, the older man sank down to his new place. He was now an ordinary member of the League of Villains.

Akira sat back in her seat.
"I've made up my mind. I'll die soon and I don't want my strength to perish with me. That's why Izuku Midoriya, will inherit my strength! Akira Shimura my beloved daughter, you will take my place as leader. Together with Izuku at your side, you will be able to lead the League of Villains.
As long as I am still alive, you can always come to me with emergencies. But I am no longer your leader. Goodbye!"
With that he put a silver necklace around Izuku and Akira neck, put his hand briefly on Izuku's head, then disappeared again through the same gray mass through which he had come.

The two new leaders stared in shock at the necklace around their necks.
Shigaraki rose. Many thought that out of anger he would do something stupid but nothing happened. On the contrary, Tomura Shigaraki bowed to his new bosses.

"I, Tenko Shimura, swear by my life and everything that is dear to me that I will stand by you until the end, accept, respect and protect you. I will neither question orders nor fail to carry out orders. I swear eternal loyalty boss! " When Shigaraki finished his oath of allegiance, there was brief silence.

Then the first dared to do the same as Shigaraki did. They all accepted the new leaders.

When everyone was finally finished, Akira spoke up.
"The meeting is over, proclaim this message to all members:
'The villain duo, the Death and the Angel of Death, have been chosen by the Master to be the new leaders of the League. Whoever does not respect us, dies. Anyone who does not swear allegiance to us, dies. Whoever resists us, dies'
Understood?!" Her aura was cold and terrifying. She was a merciless leader.

"Understood!" The rest of the League called out and disappeared.

When they were finally alone Akira and the green-haired one had to plan things out.
"Okay, let's do it like this:
You stay in the background  like All for One, I'll do it like Shigaraki. We can take turns planning and executing so that our mentality won't suffer as much." She explained, Izuku agreed with her.

Then the two parted. Izuku had to train with his new Quirk and Akira also had something to do.

"AKIRA?!" Tenya screamed as the girl entered her room.
Ochako Uraraka, sat there with tears in his eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me the villain duo are from the League. Tell me everything you know about them! They lead us ... what about All for One?" Iida started to question her.

"Tenya, when you stand in front of your masters you will find out. To initiate you now, I would put you in danger and I want to prevent that."
Akira apologized.

The girl lay down on her bed.
Confused, Ochako and Tenya looked at each other. What happened in that meeting? That was the question that preoccupied both of them.

Akira sighed and sat up. She called out some name. After a short time a low ranked villain came into the room. Akira went up to the villain, annoyed, and passed on an order.

"The, until now, unused part of the basement has to be cleaned. The garbage has to go out. I don't want to see any more dust. I will have to use all of the rooms."

When Akira had finished speaking, the low villain left the room and passed the order on to the associated ones.

"Tenya please go now, Kurogiri can certainly use your help." Akira ordered and the addressed left the room with a small bow.

"Ochako, I'm so happy-" The young villain couldn't finish the sentence because Izuku came running into her room.

Ochako quit anxiously when Izuku ran up to Akira in a rage.

Furiously, the older one grabbed the girl's throat and pressed her against the wall.
Akira allowed it.

"TELL ME WHY ?! WHY NOW ?!" Yelled Izuku. The anger in his voice could not be ignored

"I can't yet. Why now ?! Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! Aki please help me!" The anger in Izuku's voice turned to grief.
His eyes filled with tears and weeping he sank to his knees.

"Izuku, I know it's hard and a big task but we can do it. Okay? You said it yourself. Together we are unstoppable!"
