26. Classparty

The sports festival was over. Izuku's assumptions were correct. His crush had won. He had asked Aizawa to leave the class tomorrow and help him set up a small party.

The whole class was already tight. Izuku had explained everything to them. Akira deserved to be celebrated, not just her but the whole class.

Akira was picked up by Aizawa to discuss something. Izuku used this time to decorate the dorm house. After a short time Momo and Tenya came to help him.

Together they made it on time. The party guests, aka the class 1-A, had presents with them. Izuku had told them how Akira was never praised for anything. Also how she never had friends except him to party with.

Now only Akira was missing to start the party. Shortly before, Izuku took Momo aside again.

"I know that's pretty selfish now that you've already helped me, but I would ask you to make a training butterfly knife. I would also use a real one, but that would be critical as I'm still a villain. Akira would be surprised where I would got it from."
Momo gave the pleading boy a critical look.

"What do you want it for?" She asked skeptically.

"Oh, didn't I mention that? Oops, I wanted to give it to Akira as a reward." Izuku laughed uncertainly.

Momo just nodded and handed the present to Izuku. She had already packed it up.
"Thank you, Momo!" Said the greenhead and bowed politely.

Izuku placed the package hidden on the gift table so that she would be the last to unwrap it.

Akira finally came through the door after 20 minutes and was surprised by Confetti. Aizawa stood behind her and just said dryly
"Surprise! Congratulations Akira!"
Then he sat down in a quiet corner and snuggled into his sleeping bag.

"Seriously?" Akira asked with a laugh and gave everyone a little hug.
They laughed and spent a few hours just talking.

Then it was time for the presents, Akira sat in front of it with wide eyes.
She laughed and was happy about every single gift. You could tell that the class didn't know her very well because there wasn't really anything she liked about it.

Then she picked up the last package. Izuku's gift. She opened it carefully and her eyes widened. She laughed and hid the present. The class was now getting curious.

"Izu? Where did you get that from?" She asked seriously. Addressed just looked at Momo with a shrug. She just smiled.

"Thanks you two. I'm not allowed to own any real knives here." She said, pulling the trainer out of the package.

It was one of those typical rainbow things. Real ones were of course more to Akira's taste but that was better than nothing.

"Wow stop! Do you even know how to deal with that?!" Kirishima asked, unsure.

She proudly opened the butterfly and presented a few tricks. She flips it from hand to hand, behind her back, tossed it in the air and a lot more. All of this without any errors. It was also clear that butterfly knives were her favorite weapon after all.

She ended her performance by throwing the practice knife high in the air, catching it, and walking toward Kirishima. In the few steps she opened the knife again and held it Kirishima to  the throat.

"Yeah, I think I can handle it." She grinned, then threw the open knife at Izuku without warning.

He caught it in such a way that the blade did not hit his hand, but he held the handle in his hands. Without stopping he threw the knife in the air, caught it and did a small but impressive trick. Then he closed it again and gave it back to Akira.

Aizawa watched closely as they were playing with the knife. It didn't bother him much though.
Everyone sat in a circle. To their surprise, Aizawa joined them too.

"We still have the whole afternoon and evening. Then teach us something." Said her teacher and made the whole class cheer.

Momo made a knife for them all and they started. Aizawa knew how to use knives, but he probably didn't have that much experience with butterfly knives.

After an hour, everyone could fold the knife in and out and do simple spins.
Bakugo found it all very difficult.

Eventually they got tired of it and started playing truth or dare. Aizawa also took part.

"Truth or Dare, Mr. Aizawa." Asked Mina

"Truth." Said the addressed, still half in the sleeping bag.

"How many cats do you have and what are their names?"

Aizawa took out his phone and showed his class photos.

"This is Jamy,
Samy,
Fluffy,
Esmeralda,
Emerald,
Mint,
Fireheart,
Sissi,
And my newest cat is called Deku "
In the last picture, a black cat with light green eyes appeared. There were gray stripes on her legs. Her tail had a white dot at the top and there was a white spot on her nose.

The girls were very enthusiastic about the cat pictures. Some guys made 'aww' noises too.

Izuku inwardly rolled his eyes.
He would have to see so many cats in the bar and they needed a room of their own.

"Okay Akira, Truth or Dare." Asked Dadzawa.

"I take Dare I think!"

"You spend so much time with Izuku, show us your best villain interpretation."

The class mumbled something like 'she can't do that' 'she's way too cute' and something like that.

"Izu, please help me." She said and got up. Izuku got up too and the girl leaned against him.

A crazy expression came into her face, she pulled the butterfly and pulled it over the face of the greenhead, actually there would be blood on it now.
Carefully she pretended to lick the blade and then began to giggle creepily. The giggle quickly turned into a crazy laugh.
"You would like to be a hero, you are incapable and a waste of space, you would never come up against me and the LoV! You don't stand a chance against me HAHAHAHHAH!" The class turned pale.

Akira put the knife away again and looked friendly again as always.

"So I really-"
She was interrupted by Aizawa's phone.

"Yes...
Yes...
OK...
I understand...
No...
Yes I know...
I will tell them...
Yes it's good ...
speak to you soon."

"So, everyone home now and think about your hero's names!"
So the party came to an end Aizawa helped them clean up and then left.

Akira and Izuku went to bed tired and ready for whatever tomorrow may bring.
