Izuku listened to the conversation between 'Izumi' and the inspector. Now it was time to get her out again.

Your mission was successful. She had said that he, Izuku Midoriya, was the death in person, that was all they needed.

"KUROGIRI! TOGA! TWICE! TODOROKIS! COLLECT! IMMEDIATELY!" The leader roared through the house and a minute later everyone was gathered.

Shoto was a bit surprised why Dabi was there, he didn't know what Dabi was really called. Well Shoto thought it was one of the reasons why he wanted to join League. He was almost certain that Dabi and Toya, his brother believed dead, were the same person.

"Okay, we're going to pick up Akira now. She's stuck in a tank and if it goes on like this, she'll die. I'll explain that later. Now to the plan"
We discussed the best way to pick up Akira and off we went.

Through the portal, the group landed right in front of the police station. Dabi blew up the doors and an alarm went off.
Shoto used his ice to clear the way. Toga and Twice left the group.

Not long afterwards, Izuku received a message where Akira was. Kurogiri took them there.

In the room they were immediately greeted by loaded weapons.
"Do not move!" One of the policemen threatened.
Inspector Tsukauchi stood in front of the tank and, at the noise behind him, he turned around with wide eyes.

"Shoto." Izuku just said and the whole room was covered in ice. The boy had been careful not to freeze his comrades.

"Get her out." Izuku said calmly again and Dabi and Shoto did as they were told. They broke open the glass tank and Akira was able to get out. Her fin was gone now and she was in her normal shape. She was trembling all over, her boyfriend quickly put her in his arms and gently laid her down.

She seemed only now to have noticed how overly she'd used her Quirk. Akira was overheating, she hadn't been able to notice it through the cold water.

"Shoto! Cool her quickly!" Shoto, who immediately knelt down next to them and put his hand on Akira's forehead, just looked scared.

"What's going on here?" The inspector asked, still trapped in the ice.
Everyone ignored him. All but Izuku.

"Where does it look? I'm currently rescuing the Angel of Death. We decide about life and death." It got quiet.

"Get Kuro!" The leader gave the order and only a few moments later, they all fell through a purple portal, just in time because Akira had lost consciousness in the bar.

"Fuck!" The greenhead cursed, which is why the other league members gave him strange looks. He was usually the easygoing type.
When everyone realized their unconscious leader, a little panic broke out.

"Shoto, take her to a dark room. You're the only one with ice powers. You always have to keep her cool. Her blood can't overheat." Izuku tried to give off a calming aura, which more or less worked. Those who didn't know him that well looked reassured. The others just got more panic.

Shoto gently picked Akira up and brought her upstairs, Dabi followed.
Exhausted, he sat down at the bar.
"Shochu."
He said to Tenya, who was standing at the bar. He handed him the typical Japanese vodka.

Izuku emptied the small glass very quickly and then ran upstairs.
As he had expected, Dabi, Kurogiri and Shoto sat around Akira. She glowed and her veins were unnaturally black.

"Her quirk is part of her blood, if she uses it too much, her blood burns and she dies. It's her biggest weakness."
Everyone turned to Izuku, nobody had heard him approach.

"That'll stay a secret, otherwise I'll kill you." Izuku growled and knelt next to Akira's bed.

"Is there anything we can do for her, young master?" Kurogiri asked worriedly.

"Well, actually only cooling otherwise ...
There is a way, but it would be risky. I will not do it. The risk is too high." he replied, squeezing Akira's hand.

"What can happen in the worst case if you implement your idea?" Dabi asked worried. Akira was a little sister to him.

"She would die. Her Quirk is killing her but is the only thing that keeps her alive at the moment. If I took her Quirk, her blood would automatically cool down completely. If I can't give the Quirk back immediately, her heart will stop." The leader said bitterly.

Everyone shook their heads in unison. Nobody wanted to take the risk of losing Akira.
None of them wanted to break away from the guise of their leader. They all feared what might happen.

Everyone hung on to his thoughts, which were, however, interrupted by a blond boy. Bakugo came running through the door. His face was paler than usual, his normally empty eyes were filled with fear.

"Everyone out except Bakugo." Izuku said coldly
everyone obeyed. Nobody had the strength to argue.

"Aki ... don't leave me okay?" Bakugo began to cry softly when he took the girl's hand.

"Hey Izuku, I wanted to talk to you." He said cautiously. A little surprised that he called him by his first name, Izuku nodded.

"That ... what you said. I mean torture and all? Is it true?"
The greenhead tore his eyes slightly and noticed the light red in his face.

"I ... I Ahhh I'm sorry ... I wasn't thinking I-"
Bakugo started laughing.

"There he is my little Deku again." He said he looked directly into his green eyes. The red eyes of his counterpart captivated Izuku, the emptiness had disappeared from them. His beautiful eyes were filled with hope again, the eyes Izuku had loved so much since he was little.

With his free hand, Katsuki grabbed the Izukus and pressed their lips together. The smaller one opened his eyes in surprise. He wanted to move away but his body didn't react.

The kiss became deeper and more intense. They broke away and Kacchan looked Izuku in the eye. Smiling, he held up his chin with two fingers. Izuku grinned at him. Their lips joined again and this time Izuku kissed back immediately.
