Chapter 14: There is Good News and There Is Bad News

*Flashback*

"Yoongi!" Li called as she ran over to him.  "You weren't at school today..." she trailed off as he turned around and smiled at her.
"Yea, I dont go much. You know that..."
"Not even for me?" she says through a smile.
"You are an added bonus and a light to the dark..." he says pinching her cheek playfully. "But no, I hate it there. I am sorry." he says.
"Can I walk with you?" she asks curiously. She felt a cold chill across her arms and she didnt like the feeling. It usually meant Taehyung wasn't far behind.
"Of course, but aren't you going home?" he asks curiously. "I was. But papa is at work, and Mina is off with her boyfriend. I didnt want to go home alone." she says through a sigh.
"Well you are in luck, I was going home alone as well, so....if you come with me, we wont be so alone."
Li smiled at Yoongi as she started to walk beside him.
"How have things been?" Yoongi says, trying to keep the conversation going. Truth be told after he shoved Tae off her awhile back, he couldn't get her out of his head. They had been friends for a long while through Tae and Jimin, but they were never close like she was to Tae and Mina. Every time he thought of her, his heart raced and his mind felt like it wouldnt be able to stay in one place. But when she was near, everything was quiet. Even his demons seemed to be at peace within themselves. But he knew after what Tae put her through, she wasn't going to want another relationship. So he was content with her being near as his friend. As long as she was with him in some way, he was happy.
"Oh...uh..." Li stammered as she rubbed the side of her arm.
Yoongi looked over to her out of the corber of his eyes. He could see this question made her nervous.
"Dont bother lying..." he says looking forward again. "Is he still messing with you?"
"No."  she says quietly.
He sighs and rolls his eyes as he puts his arm around her shoulders and pulls her close to him. "You are not a very good liar, Li."
"Dont beat him up again...." Li says quietly,
"No promises...." he says through a small chuckle.
"Yoongi...." she says playfully punching his arm. "Seriously though, you dont have to fight all the time. Especially for me."
He stops walking suddenly and turns so they are facing each other.  "What are you talking about Li? I will fight any day for you. Especially if he feels he has the audacity to hurt you like he is. Somebody has to fight for you if you wont tell your father whats going on."
"He is just hurt. Honestly, once he gets over it , it will all be fine. There is no reason to trouble Papa with this teenage stuff." she tries to smile.
Yoongi looked down and shook his head from side to side. "When you say these things, who are you trying to convince? Cause it sounds like to me, your trying to tell yourself that he will move on."
Li felt the tears rush to the peaks of her eyes. And she tried to keep them from falling, but it was no good.
"You are right. And I shouldn't involve you or anyone else. Im sorry." she says as she turns to walk away.
Yoongi sighed loudly as he grabbed her hand and pulled her back around.
"I didnt say I didnt want to see you. I will give my life to make sure he never touches you again. Cant you see that?"
"No. I dont see. I only ever see you at small amounts of time. You are never at school anymore. I...." she trails off the last part.
"You what?" he says  crossing his arms over his chest.
"I like you...." she says quietly.
"You what?" he says again, his heart pounding wildly now. He never thought he would hear her say those words to him.
"Forget it..." she says as she turns to walk away again.
"Nah uh..." Yoongi says as he grabs her hand again and turns her back around.
"Quit doing that" she says snatching her hand again. "Let me walk away. I am tired of embarassing myself."
He laughed as he reached out to touch her cheek. "I like you too..." he says and then realizes what he just said. Now his cheeks were growing red with embarassment as he looked away.
"Min Yoongi, I didnt know you were capable of feeling embarassed..." Li giggles as she pinches the red flush on his cheeks.
"Shutup..." he says as he leans down to kiss her.

"Li, I am gonna head down to the office real quick and put the final preperations on everything. That way if and when we do come back, we both can still come back to the company. I have to get my stand in trained and all that jazz and paperwork. Will you be alright while I am gone?" he aks curiously as he walks over and kisses her cheek.
"Mmm...." she says as she runs his finger through the back of his hair.
"When I get back, I will take you and Min out for dinner. And then we can talk about the move. Ok?"
"Sounds good Jimin. I will be here."
He smiles his brillant eye smile as he waved goodbye and walked out the door.
Suddenly, she was overcome with dizziness and nausea. She jumped to her feet and ran to the bathroom. She knew this feeling. This is how she felt right after Yoongi died. And she knew immediatly what it was.
She felt a mixture of excitement and fear. Not sure if this was the right time for this.
Just then her phone rang and she pulled it from her pocket to see it was the hospital calling. She smiled, thinking it was her father calling to update her.
"Hi Papa, everything okay?" she says as she answers.
"Choi Li?" an unfamliar voice asks on the other end.
"Mm, this is her." she says, her smile fading a little but still on her face. Maybe they were calling to tell her he was being released early and she could come pick him up.
"Miss Li, we are very sorry to call you like this, but your father has unexpectedly passed away. We need you to come down and get everything in order and prepared."
"What do you mean....passed away? He just had a head injury. He was just fine when we left this morning. What happened?"
"The Doctor can explain it better, but it seems he had an unexpected heart attack. I am sorry to inform you this way. Please come down as soon as you can."
Li let the phone fall from her hand and shatter as it hit the ground.
The room felt dizzy, and she felt like she could barely breathe. She tried to leave the bathroom to get to the living room to get her medications to calm the panic that was consuming her.
As she made it to the couch to sit down, she looked up to see Jimin coming back inside.
"Forgot my phone. My head isnt here these days with everything.....going....on..." he trails off as he sees Li sobbing uncontrollably on the couch.
He runs over to her and pulls her close to his chest and hugs her tightly. "Whats happened?" he says pushing her hair from her face.
"Papa....hes gone..." she says trying to calm her crying.
"What?" he says in shock. "He was just fine when he left?"
"They say he had a heart attack. I have to go down there for the preperations and paperwork." she says standing up, using Jimin to keep her balance.
"Want me to come with you?"
"Yes please. We need to get Min. I dont want him finding out through the news. It will crush him."
"Of course, lets go quickly...."
