Chapter 2: Metamorphosis

After dancing with Clark, Liana's in her room putting her crown on a shelf, with the rest of her awards. Liana finds a present on her bed and goes to open it. She finds real butterfly's in the box and she's amazed by it. What she doesn't know is that someone is watching her.

The next day, at the farmers market, Chloe says, "All hail the homecoming King and Queen!" Liana smiles at Chloe and Mr. Kent walks over and says, "Hey, congratulations! That was one heck of a game. I haven't seen an offence that good since I played." Whitney says, "Thank you, Mr. Kent." Mr. Kent hands Liana an apple and says, "Liana." Liana smiles and says, "Thank you." Liana then walks over to see butterfly chimes and hears a voice say, "Beautiful, isn't it?" Liana turns around and smiles, "Greg! Hey, I almost didn't recognize you with your glasses." Greg says, "Do you know the average butterfly only lives for eight hours?" Liana says, "Live fast, die young. They're the rock stars of the insect world." Greg says, "Hey, Liana, I was wondering if you could help me with my Lit paper?" Liana says, "Nathanael West assignment giving you brain freeze?" Greg says, "Yeah, it's kicking my ass." Liana says, "Sure, okay." Greg says, "Great, how about my house, after school?" Liana says, "Library might be easier." Greg says, "It's a date." Liana nods and Whitney comes over and says, "Liana, your aunt's looking for you." Liana says, "Okay, I'll see you later Greg." Greg nods. Later, Liana kisses Whitney goodbye and watch's him drive off.
