"Alcina! Wait!" Karl called as they raced to Miranda's Manor. She gasped sharply for air, the icy cold wind burning her lungs, feeling an ice cold stab to her heart. She fell off the giant horse, plummeting into the soft snow below. She clutched her chest, gasping for air. Karl rushed over and jumped off his horse, kneeling next to her. Her eyes were wild, realizing that Lilith is being attacked, her wounds appeared on Alcina's chest.

"What the fuck?" Karl took off his glasses, looking at Alcina with fear. She breathed deeply, able to withstand the now numbing pain in her chest.

"We need to go, we need to run! She's hurt, Karl! Who knows what that hag is doing with her!!" Alcina snapped at him.

"I know, I know. But we need a plan. We can't just go bursting through the front door!" he argued, little sparks of electricity flashed around him, ultimately spooking the horses.

"Fuck, Karl!" Alcina growled as her panic and stress got out of her control. She got up, hunched over slightly from the pain in her chest, and dusted off her dress.

"Shit. Sorry." Karl groaned as they watched the horses run off into the forest.

"I'd you think I'm going to go in quietly, brother, you are sorely mistaken." a deep growl came from his sister, as her body started quivering.

"I said nothing about being quiet! Stop snapping at me and go get Lilith!" he growled back at her, jumping on a big metal door. He sped off in the direction of the manor, gliding effortlessly through the trees. Alcina rolled her eyes, before exhaling sharply. She closed her eyes and winced slightly as she started transforming into the mutated dragon. Karl glanced back and saw the beast speeding towards him, moving much faster than he was. He timed it perfectly, and jumped on her back as she blasted past him, holding onto Alcina's body protruding from the back of the dragon. She flew upward, the beast too big to be able to move easily through the trees.

"Lilith, open your eyes." a voice said softly, cold, bony fingers cupped her cheek. Lilith came to, squinting through the tears in her eyes.

"Who the fuck are you?" Lilith was in too much pain to be able to move.

"Come now. Surely you know." the blonde smiled softly at her.

"Miranda. What the fuck do you want?" she hissed, slowly able to move around.

"I came to free you." she answered, smiling softly at her. Miranda gently stepped forward, holding a glass of water. When Lilith spotted the water, only then she realized how thirsty she was.  She looked at the water, but her distrust in the blonde before her lingered in her head.

"Get the fuck away from me." she growled, slapping the glass from her hand, shattering on the marble floor.

"Look, I know you don't trust me. Which is understandable." she said, before gripping Lilith's jaw softly, as if she was glass.

"But I never asked Alcina to do this for me. I made peace with the fact that my daughter was dead. But my feelings for her isn't what she wants. I don't lover her the way she wants me to. It seems like she got a bit obsessed-"

"Shut your filthy mouth, Miranda! You are lying! She would never..." Lilith trailed off, hating the fact that she could feel, deep down, a small spark of doubt in her lover. She started sobbing, scooting away from her grip.

"Why should I believe you?!" her eyes stung as the hot tears flowed.

"Think about it. This is the first time you see me. Those attacks on you and your family? How sure are you that I was responsible?" she asked Lilith, crossing her arms in front of her.
