Your POV
It's winding down in the night so one could only guess that it's just the idiots sitting on the couch and drinking the night away.
My feet have carried me to the bar yet again to retrieve another drink. When I get there of course Natasha is behind the counter whipping up some concoction for Steve.
"Surprised you're still standing," She smirks mockingly, to which I only shoot her a daggering glance.
"Could say the same to you. I could've sworn that she would've launched us to another planet by now."
With a chuckle, she pulls out a corona and lime then hands it to me, followed by a bottle of water.
"I suggest pacing a bit more. You'll need the hydration anyways."
I tilt my head curiously but Nat nods behind us. When I turn I see Wanda on the couch staring at us, eyes casting over to a daring scarlet red that sends chills through my bones.
I'm really in for it, aren't I?
"Jesus Christ I'm going to die tonight."
"Was nice knowing you," she pats my arm and walks over to Steve with their drinks, smiling sweetly at the old man who returns the gesture gratefully.
Sighing, I take the cap off the bottle and drink my beer, followed by water. Sitting between everyone, Wanda continues to ignore me but stares me down. I can feel her eyes burning into the back of my head, causing me to uncomfortably shift nearly every 5 minutes.
Given the uncomfortableness I feel, it is still nice to see everyone here together. All of us reunited. No Thanos, no stones, no dusted people, no pain, no war. Nothing.
Everything is finally starting to feel normal.
"Well this was great and all but I have some research to do on a fossil," Natasha stands up with Steve's hand in hers.
Okay, maybe not so normal.
He stands up with a giddy grin and salutes to us.
"Until next time."
Then they disappear down the hall.
"Well that was...unexpected."
I laugh at Clint and Tony smirks, "Can't believe the old man's motor still runs."
The room breaks out into fits of laughter and continued conversation until I notice Wanda standing up. Without a word, she grabs my hand and yanks me to my feet, dragging me down the hall while I stumble to stay in line.
"Night!" I shout back at everyone who only laugh and mock me for being in trouble with Wanda.
We reach my room where she slams the door behind us and uses her magic to lock it. Turning around, her eyes are a furious red, hands glowing at her sides.
