Ayoooooooooo I'm alive!
Your POV
My fingers play with her orange hair as we watch a show. She breathes happily as I read up on SWORD files Monica kindly handed over to me.
There's been a lot of people rebelling against the idea of having aliens on our earth. Asgardians, Skrulls, you name them. The crimes people are committing against these people from other worlds that just want to start fresh and live in peace are horrendous.
Murders, kidnappings, attacks.
There's so much and I want to stop it all, help them, change it, but I don't know if I can stop every single one of them.
How can people be so insensitive to the fact that others have been dealt the shittiest cards in life, that their planets have been destroyed and all they want to do is live happily in a safer place.
They can't do that if it's no safe place for them. For their children, their elders.
It's terrible.
The sound of a door opening catches my attention and I see Natasha walking through the doors.
Wanda sits up and smiles, "You're back."
"I am, hate to break it to you but, you still gotta deal with me," Nat smirks over at me and I chuckle, "Oh damn. I was hoping to turn your room into my gaming studio."
Wanda elbows me in the gut before she stands up, heading over to Natasha with open arms. They embrace one another and then it's my turn.
I breathe out in relief, "You did it?"
"I did it. He's gone...thank you, for trying to take him down in the past. It's over. I'm finally free. And the other widows will be too," Nat turns and that's when I notice the other person behind her slowly walking in.
She looks around in awe of the place, dropping a duffel bag to the ground.
"This place is huge. You could fit the Red Room right in here."
Natasha shoots the blonde girl a scolding glare, to which she raises her arms in surrender, "Too soon?"
"Yes," Natasha sighs and I smirk at the blonde, "You must be Yelena. I'm Y/N."
I reach a hand out and she comes over, eyes observant and calculated. They rake over me, judging me silently before she shrugs, shaking my hand, "The famous Y/N Stark. You are Natasha's friend?"
"I would say we are more acquaintances," I joke, which earns me a playful nudge. I smile and turn to my best friend, pulling her into a tight hug.
"I missed you," I mumble and she squeezes me tighter, her hands gripping the back of my shirt as she nods.
"I missed you too, Stark."
