Your POV

We finally pull into the location that Darcy sent and peel out of the car.

"Why aren't we meeting Director Hayward?" I question just as three people approach us. One of them I recognize as Captain Monica Rambeau from S.W.O.R.D..

"You made it," Monica smiles, walking over to hug Natasha.

"We came as fast as we could," Nat responds. Tony looks around with a frown, "Where's the old guy that took over for your mom? Hayward?"

"He no longer wants us on the Maximoff case," A man answers. I turn to look at him and recognize his face...he's wearing S.W.O.R.D. clothes but I know he's from the FBI.

"You're Woo, right?" I ask, to which he grins, reaching a hand out for me to shake.

"Jimmy Woo. A pleasure to officially meet you, Y/N Stark."

"Mutual," I smile and he greets the other two while a woman stands to the side.

She's staring at me. Like literally staring. Her jaw is nearly on the floor and I have to wave a hand in front of her to snap her out of her daze.

When she does I just chuckle, "You alright, Ma'am?"

The brunette breaks out into a wide grin, lunging to hug me tightly. I stumble a bit but hold myself up, not sure whether or not I should hug her back.

"Y/N Stark! I'm a huge fan. Really glad you're not actually dead, by the way."

"I-thank you?" I question and chuckle once again while Natasha groans, "Of course she gets a fangirl."

"I've watched every episode of WandaY/N. You're amazing."

When we break apart, I quirk up an eyebrow in amusement, "right...thanks. You must be Thor's friend. Darcy, right?"

With a speedy nod, she salutes awkwardly and fixes her glasses, "At your service."

"Great now that we are all acquainted, anyone mind telling us why you were kicked off the case?" Tony urges.

The three lead us into a small room, Wanda's face everywhere, on every screen, episodes playing and maps laid out. I look around at it all, observing one map of Westview and zooming in on the house I was going to build for us...the one Wanda decided to take care of on her own.

"Hayward didn't like that we don't agree with his plan."

I stop looking and turn around, interested in what Monica has to say.

"What plan?"

She sighs, looking at me softly before gulping down a hard breath.

"He wants to kill Wanda."

My heart drops in my chest, fists clenching at my sides while my mouth starts to go dry. Natasha notices my nerves picking up and walks over to me to grab my hand, rubbing patterns on the back of it to calm me down before I lose it. I suck in a sharp breath and half nod, looking down at the table, staring at a video of Wanda in a red costume.

"And you don't?"

My eyes flicker upwards to glance at the three standing before us who shake their heads.

"I was in the hex with her. I saw how your name and your death affected her. She's scared. Eliminating Wanda doesn't mean the hex will go away. I think she's the only solution to this. She has to do it herself. Being there with her...I picked up on things. She is unsure of herself and her power. I don't think she even understands how she created all of this. Her emotions are all that are fueling her right now. She isn't thinking straight."
