SPELIVIA 2 ?

the championship game (4x01 prediction)

(This is my prediction of how I think the championship game will go in the season premiere!)

Crowds cheering, field lights shining, flags and pompoms shaking. Both teams being tense from their altercation. Coaches being nervous but pissed at their players at the same time. Everything was nerve-wracking for everyone. Especially Spencer.

He just went through the most within the span of two days, including today. Coach Bean Head called him a betrayer for helping Jordan train, and then Jordan got upset for Spencer for snitching, basically doing the right thing. And then the fight ensued between both teams. Spencer was going through it. He didn't know how to fix all of this.

The announcer calls out both teams and they run out onto the field. At this moment, Spencer didn't need to worry about any of those trash men. (A/N: I'm sorry if I'm calling Jordan and Billy trash. It's just that they honestly did my boy Spencer wrong. They really gone on him for something they should've figured out themselves. Smh 🤦🏾‍♀️)

He needed to focus on winning for himself and his team. Crenshaw has been struggling the whole school year. They feel like they deserve this win after all the hard work they put. They couldn't imagine the feeling of them losing everything they worked hard for. So they put their game faces on for this moment.

Both teams both stand across from each other, clearly not ignoring the tension between each other. The referee comes out and flips a coin.

"Crenshaw gets the ball."

And with that, the game has officially started. Chris hikes the ball. "Alive. 11. Live. 32. SET... HIKE!" Chris throws the ball under to Frausto, who runs down the field. Spencer is near him and tries to send a signal for Frausto to throw it to him. Frausto sees and doesn't pay Spencer no mind and runs down the field. As he is running to the field, he gets tackled by a Beverly player, missing the touchdown.

Spencer grunts in anger as he knew Frausto was being petty with him. But he got over it and got back to playing.

For the past 30 minutes or so, it's been neck and neck for both teams. They both have been playing aggressive. It's a tense game. With people being more and more petty, whether it's from his team or players from Beverly, Spencer was growing tired of the foolishness.

It's now halftime and people were taking a breather in the locker room. Crenshaw were sitting down on the benches pissed. Even though the score is neck and neck, they didn't like how aggressive Beverly played.

Spencer saw this and try to take advantage of the situation and try to give encouragement. He stands up in front of everyone.

"Aye, y'all listen up.. um.. look I know this game is intense. Believe me, I'm pissed too. But come on, we're close to winning. If we could just come together as a team and work out our plays, we will be able to bag this win!" Just then, Frausto stands up.

"Oh please, save it. We don't want to hear what you have to say. You already betrayed us by helping out a Beverly player. Why are you giving us encouragement? Honestly, I'm tired of your bs. Thinking you giving us a speech is going to help us win this. Please...."

"Frausto, come on—" Frausto cuts Spencer off. "No, just don't. You've done enough. Just go."

Spencer was now frustrated and he just wanted to let it out. So he just leaves the room to go into the hallway. He then goes to a wall and kicks it. He screams in anger. While he's screaming, he throws his helmet. He then slides down to the floor, putting his hands on his head. He was honestly stressed. He didn't know how to put his people on his good side again.

Just as he was in his thoughts, he hears a sweet soft voice coming down from the hallway.

"Spencer....."

He looks up to see the one person he honestly needed right now. Olivia. Spencer stands up and Olivia gives him a hug, giving him comfort. "Hey, you ok? I heard you screaming."

They both chuckle. They both look at each other holding hands. Spencer sighs and then saids: "It's just like I let everyone down. Coach, my team, Jordan, everybody..." Olivia nods her head, understanding his emotion.

"I'm sure they will come around. You just need to give them time. I'm sure they won't stay mad at you for long." Olivia saids, trying to bring light to Spencer.

"I don't know if it will be that simple."

"Well, look, if you're really stressed about them, don't think about them. Don't worry about their feelings. You're playing one of the biggest games right now. That's what you should be focused on. Worry about winning. Just play. Be the Spencer James that I know and love. And plus, whenever you're upset during the game, just think of me. I'm sure you won't be that stressed anymore."

Spencer chuckles. Olivia wraps her arms around his neck and Spencer wraps his arms around her waist, looking straight into her eyes.

"Win for me." Olivia saids before she leans into Spencer, giving him a long and passionate kiss. Spencer felt as if a weight was pulled off his shoulders. He didn't feel as much stress as he did before. This time, he felt more relaxed and determined to win. Not for only himself. But for the people he cared about.

After a few seconds of kissing, Billy walks out to see them on each other. He gets upset. "Spencer, let's go!" He saids with attitude. Spencer looks back. "Alright!" Billy walks back into the room. Spencer looks right back at Liv.

"They'll come around. In the meantime, I will be rooting for you in the stands. Good luck, baby." She then gives him a kiss and walks away. Spencer smiles at Olivia while she was walking.

After Olivia leaves, Spencer walks back to finish the game, hoping to get it over with.

____SKIP TO THE END OF THE GAME____

Spencer makes the final touchdown, winning the state championship! The crowd goes wild! Everyone on Team Crenshaw is screaming, happy that their team won! Chris runs up to him, dabbing him. "We won, man! We won!" Chris saids, excited. Spencer smiles back at him. "Hell yeah, man!"

Spencer then sees Jordan walk up to him. "Hey, um congrats, man..." Jordan saids, with regret in his voice. Spencer knew he felt bad about what happened before the game but honestly Spencer wasn't trying to hear it. At this moment, he just wanted to be away from negativity.

"Thanks..." That's all Spencer saids before he walks away and sees Olivia run and jump into his arms. They share a passionate kiss before Liv looks at him while Spencer is carrying her. "Congratulations baby! I knew you could do it!"

"Hey, I just thought about you and my mind was focused." They both smile at each other and almost kiss again before Grace comes up to them with a worried face. Spencer puts Liv down and looks at his mom. "Ma, what's wrong?"

Grace saids with a shaky voice. "It's Coop baby. She was shot...."

Spencer froze. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He didn't want to believe what he just heard. Grace snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Spencer, come on, we have to go to the hospital!"

And just like that, they all run to the hospital to check on Coop, Spencer's best friend.
