happiness (version)

(This is just the iconic spelivia scene in Episode 18 of Season 3 but it's a little extended. This is my version of how I wanted it to go.)

Spencer was sitting in his room when he heard a knock at the door. He walks to open the door and sees Olivia smiling. They say hello and he lets her in.

"I need to ask you something." Olivia saids, putting her bag on the chair.

"Ight." Spencer saids, of course willing to listen. Olivia turns to look at him, with her hands cupped together.

"Why did you fall back after Bringston? And don't say that we was caught up in the moment. I want the truth." Spencer immediately had an answer.

"Because your recovery comes first. I won't compromise that over nothing." He replies. Olivia smiles, nodding her head. She was happy he understood. She knew he did.

"I knew you wouldn't. You always care for me." Olivia saids. Spencer smiles and chuckles. "As always. I will always care about you. You know that." Olivia chuckles. She appreciated Spencer so much.

"Yeah, I know. Which is why I wanted to give you a compromise myself." Spencer becomes intrigued. "What is it?"

Olivia takes a deep breath before asking: "What if I told you that I could be with you and still put my recovery first?"

At that moment, Spencer was caught off guard for a second. But, overall, he was waiting for this moment for so long. After waiting for Olivia to heal after everything she had went through, he was wondering where they were in terms of a relationship. Spencer smiles and ask her, just to have confirmation.

"Be with me? As in what, like a relationship? Officially?"

Olivia chuckles and bites her lips. "Well, that's up to you. I'm all in for it. I love you Spencer and I finally want us to be together. So what do you say?"

Spencer smiles and looks up and down at her. "Well, I say it's about damn time we got our shot at happiness."

"Yeah, I agree." Olivia saids before she walks to Spencer and grabs him to passionately kiss him. They have their arms wrapped around each other, taking in this moment. As they were kissing, Spencer picks her up, surprising Liv. She laughs.

He says in a low sexy tone: "Come here.."

Olivia bites her lips and kisses him back. They softly moan into their kiss. This prompts Spencer to carry Liv into his bedroom and gently sets her down on the bed. He is now on top of her.

After their moment, Spencer and Olivia are sitting on the couch, cuddling. Olivia looks at him, smiling. Genuinely happy that she is finally with her true happiness. Spencer notices her staring. She smiles.

"Why are you staring?" Spencer asks in a soft voice. Olivia looks at him smiling.

"I'm just happy. I'm happy that I am finally with the person that has honestly changed my life." Spencer is in awe. He lets her continue.

"When you first walked into Beverly and we bonded over chromosomal DNA, I immediately knew that I was going to like you a lot. And I was right. My feelings grew for you even more when you asked me if I was really ok when I sort of told you my OD story. No one has ever asked if I was really ok after that. But you did. And I'm grateful for that."

"Thanks, Liv. I appreciate that." Spencer saids, meaning every word.

"You're welcome. And again, I'm sorry about everything I put you through. You know, not really telling you about me relapsing, me asking to switch seats, and everything else I put you through.."

Liv starts to tear up, genuinely feeling bad about everything she has done to him. She felt terrible about her dumb actions. Spencer wrap his arms around her, comforting her.

"Hey, it's ok. I know you were in a tough place. I'm not upset about that. You got the help you needed and that's all that matters." Olivia smiles at his comfort words.

"Thanks, baby." Olivia saids. Spencer was surprised. He didn't expect Liv to say baby.

"Baby?" Spencer asks. Olivia looks at him, chuckling.

"Yes, baby. What? You're surprised by me saying it?"

"A little."

Olivia looks down, realizing that she hasn't actually said baby to any other guy she has been with. This is her first time saying it to Spencer. Spencer notices her expression and lifts her chin.

"Hey. It's cute. Really cute." Spencer saids, trying to cheer her up. Olivia smiles and gives him a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you, baby." Olivia saids with a soft voice.

"I love you too...." Spencer saids without saying baby on purpose. Olivia playfully pouts and looks away, not satisfied with him not saying the word baby back. Spencer chuckles at her cuteness

"Baby."

Olivia smiles and looks back at him, cutely laughing. They kiss and they enjoy the rest of their time together, not forgetting this night.
