(What if Olivia confessed her feelings to Spencer in the cafe instead of the car, avoiding the car crash? This is my version)
It was a late night at Crenshaw and Spencer and Kia were closing the cafe. They were talking and putting up the chairs onto the tables when they hear the door open. Olivia walks in and Spencer stares at her, not expecting her appearance.
"Hey." Spencer saids.
"Hey." Olivia says back.
There's a few moments of silence before Kia speaks. "Um.. I'm just going to.. you know... do something in the back... yeah... see ya..." Kia leaves to give them privacy. There's a few more seconds of silence before Olivia speaks up.
"I'm sorry I didn't respond to your texts earlier. I didn't mean to leave you in some weird ransom all day."
"It's all good." Spencer saids, still staring at her, low key in his thoughts.
"It's not. Um.. I know you're closing but it is okay if we can talk while sitting?" Olivia asks. Spencer chuckles. "We would but we're not allowed to put down chairs while closing." Olivia laughs. "Oh.. well... ok.."
Spencer chuckles again. "It's fine. I can just.. tell you now..." Olivia saids. Spencer becomes interested. "Tell me what?" Olivia takes a deep breath before speaking.
"So I was thinking... you know how we always tell people we're not together? How there is nothing between us?"
"Yeah." Spencer responds.
"Well.. what if there was something?" Olivia asks this as she is taking a deep breath, trying her best to not sound nervous. Spencer slightly smiles.
"Liv.. I already told you how I felt in Vegas but you ran away. Maybe it's just because you didn't feel the same or you were scared..."
"Well.. it's definitely not those reasons.. um.. wow.. this is harder than I thought..." Olivia saids, now showing that she is completely nervous. Spencer comes close to her, holding both her hands. He is calming her down. Olivia looks at him.
"Hey, just say what you need to say. You don't need to be nervous." Spencer saids. Olivia slightly smiles and nods before speaking again.
"You know there was just a lot going on at the time... but that was then... and right here, right now...I have never been more certain about my feelings for you." Spencer is staring into her, listening to every word she is saying, even when she is nervous. She continues.
"I have had these feelings for you since you came to Beverly and these feelings have only gone deeper since." Spencer starts to tear up, surprised but happy with her confession. He would have never thought that she would confess to him after what happened in Vegas.
"And yeah.. us being together may not be the most popular choice but.. I mean we can't worry about all of that. All that we can worry about is us. This..."
Olivia stops herself to look around before she finally confesses to Spencer:
"I love you too, Spencer."
At that moment, Olivia lets go of Spencer's hands to grab his face to kiss him. Spencer was taken aback for a second before he grips her waist to passionately kiss her back. He was waiting for this moment. To have the true love of his life saying she loves him back. He was not going to let this moment go to waste.
While they are still kissing, Spencer pushes two of the chairs off a table and carries Liv to the table. Liv was surprised. She stops kissing for a minute.
"I thought you said you weren't allowed to put down chairs." Liv saids slightly chuckling. Spencer sexily smirks and bites his lips. "I don't give a damn about the chairs. Now come here girl..."
Olivia bites her lips and passionately kisses Spencer back with her on the table. This moment. Right here, right now. Everything felt perfect. Everything to both Spencer and Olivia was going right in their minds and eyes.
Spencer stops kissing Liv's lips and goes straight to her neck. Olivia softly moans, enjoying his pleasure. But at this moment, Olivia realized that she needed to tell Spencer the real truth.. that she relapsed.
"Wait.. Spencer stop." Olivia saids before Spencer stops. He is confused. He thought everything was going right. "You ok?" He asks. Olivia takes a deep breath, knowing she isn't going to like his reaction but in the end, she was the only person she could trust.
"There's something I have to tell you."
"What is it?"
Olivia takes a deep breath again before saying: "I've been drinking."
