What if Spencer never went upstairs and just stayed with Olivia the whole night after the shooting? This is my version of this cute spelivia scene.

It was late at night and Spencer was coming downstairs into the Baker kitchen to grab a drink from the fridge. While he was looking for a drink, he turns to see Liv on the couch, listening to music. Liv sees Spencer and takes off her earphones.

"Hey, don't drink all the orange juice..." Liv saids.

"Save some for me in the morning." Spencer closes the fridge and walks to her.

"What are you doing up so late?" Spencer asks.

"I haven't been able to sleep much since the shooting. So I just sit here most of the night." Liv answers honestly.

Spencer walks over to the couch to join Liv.

"Does it help?" Spencer asks.

"Strangely yes. It's quiet. And no Jordan. Best time to think." Liv saids. Spencer and Olivia both laugh.

"So what are you thinking about?" Spencer asks.

"Honestly, everything. I mean... with something like that happening, it makes you reevaluate your entire future."

Spencer agrees with her, being relatable to the feeling. "Tell me about it."

Liv looks down, feeling awkward. Spencer breaks the quick awkward silence by changing the topic. "So...um... I'm visiting UCLA tomorrow." Liv looks up and smiles.

"That's great. Or.. is that the reason you're up?"

Spencer softly smiles. "Well, that's one of the reasons."

Liv is confused. "What's the other?"

"You."

Liv starts to blush. She didn't expect that answer. "Me? Come on...."

"No, I'm serious. I've been actually wanting to check up on you since the shooting. I wanted to make sure you were ok. But I've been busy with football and all that.. so...." At this point, Liv knew he wasn't lying. Wow. Liv has never had anyone have this much care for her before. She wasn't used to being checked up on. She has always been pushed aside whenever it comes to her needs. To hear that from Spencer felt really good to Olivia.

"Oh wow. Well...um.. thanks. That's um... wow..." Liv chuckles. Spencer gives a slight chuckle. Liv notices. "What?"

"I just love how you're shocked by all of this. It's kinda cute." Liv blushes again at his words. "Um.. it's just that.. no one has ever checked up on me before."

"Your family has."

"Yeah, not really. Once they paid for me to go to rehab, and then I came back home, everyone just moved on. They went on with their lives. No one cared. They never came to my room or called or texted me saying "Am I ok..." Nope... none of that." Liv looks down as she is saying this.

"Wow... Liv.. I'm sorry...." Spencer saids feeling bad. Liv nods her head. "No, don't apologize. It's alright. I expect this from my family so... really it's no big deal. But anyway, enough about me, how do you think UCLA thought of you?"

Spencer looks up to think. "I don't know.. I just.. What if they change their minds? I mean.. when they offered me a scholarship, I was the 57th ranked player in the country. I don't know. I just feel like I'm not that player no more."

"Yeah but you will be once you heal."

"The doctor doesn't know if I will able to be at that level again. It saids only time will tell."

"So, let time do its thing. And while you're waiting, just know that there's always a spot next to me on this couch, same time every night." Liv saids smiling at Spencer. Spencer smiles.

"Ight." Spencer replies.

Liv smiles before they both stare into each other's eyes for a few seconds. They reach out to hold each other's hands, comforting each other. It's like in their minds, they're telling each other: "I got you."

After they hold hands, they let go.

"You know what? I think I need that time of sitting with you in this couch. Would you mind if we watched a movie together. You know just give each other comfort? I feel like it's about time we need it." Spencer asks confidently. Liv smiles, actually happy that she has someone to spend time with. Because to be honest, she has felt lonely sitting alone in the couch.

"Yeah. I'd really like that. Honestly, even though it is relaxing, I've been pretty lonely down here."

"Well, not anymore you're not. I am going to be here comforting you whenever you need it. Same time, every night, deal?" Spencer sticks out his hand. Liv smiles and shakes his hand. "Deal." She laughs amused by Spencer's little goofiness. Spencer smiles and grabs the remote to give it to Olivia.

"You pick the movie. I'll grab the snacks." Olivia smiles and nods.

Spencer grabs chips, candy, popcorn and water from the kitchen while Olivia picks The Incredibles. Spencer and Olivia set up the snacks on the table before Spencer grabs a blanket and puts it on the both of them.

Liv and Spencer look at each other while the movie starts. "Thanks for staying with me tonight. I really needed it." Liv saids, cuddling on Spencer's shoulder.

"Anytime." Spencer saids before they enjoy the rest of their relaxing movie night.
