SPELIVIA 2 ?

coop (prediction)

(This is how I think the hospital scene with Coop will go down in Episode 1 of Season 4.)

"Coop was shot..."

Those words didn't process through Spencer's mind. He was shocked. Baffled. Speechless. The fact that his best friend was in the hospital, in critical condition, made him feel a lot of emotions. Anger. Confusion. Surprise.

Spencer was walking quickly into the hospital, pissed.

"Where's Coop? Where is she?" Spencer yells out. Preach walks to him, eyes being puffy. He was crying. He tries to calm Spencer down. "Spence, yo man, calm down...."

"Preach, where the hell is she?" Spencer asks, calmly.

"She's in ICU. She's currently in surgery."

"What the hell happened? Who did this to her?" Preach looked down and said nothing.

"Preach, please... you know who she is to me... so please... tell me what happened..." Spencer's tears fall down from his face as he is pleading for answers. Preach looks up at Spencer, with tears falling down his face as well. To both men, this situation with Coop is just emotional. Preach wipes his face and manages to speak.

"It was Mo. She had been planning to take down Coop ever since Tyrone's murder. I'm not really sure why but yeah... Coop came to confront Mo after one of her goons planted drugs in her tour bus. It didn't go well and... Mo ended up shooting her."

Spencer looks down sighing in anger.

"I'm... so sorry Spencer..."

"Where's Mo? Imma kill her myself..." Spencer saids in anger. Olivia steps in.

"Spencer, are you crazy?!" She asks shocked. She didn't expect that kind of behavior from him.

"Maybe I am... Liv..." Spencer saids looking at her. Liv looks upset.

"You don't have to worry about her. She's gone, Spencer. I just found that she was shot too." Preach saids. Spencer looks at him.

"Mo's dead."

"Good." That's all Spencer saids before walking away to sit in the waiting room.

Spencer sees Patience broken down into tears and he sits next to her, comforting her. Patience looks at Spencer and gives him a tight hug while crying into his arms. Spencer tears up as well, knowing someone real close to them, is severely hurt right in this moment.

A few minutes go by and Spencer, Patience, Liv, Grace and Preach are all still sitting in the waiting room, waiting for Coop's results. As they were waiting, Jordan, Chris, Laura and Billy arrives.

"What happened? Is she ok?" Laura asks hugging Grace, Patience and then Spencer.

"Um.. she was shot by Tyrone's sister, Mo. I don't know why. Maybe she thought Coop was the reason her brother was dead. Preach held on to Coop at Mo's place until they got here." At this moment, Spencer started to cry again. Laura sighs and holds his hand. "Oh, Spencer, I'm so sorry. I'm sure she is going to be ok. She knows we're here for her. Let's just think positive."

Spencer half smiles at Laura and gives her a hug. "Thank you, Ms. Baker." Laura smiles. Jordan and Billy cut in. "Yeah, don't worry son. We're here for you..." Billy saids. Jordan adds on. "Yeah, we're here for you man..."

Spencer looks at the both of them, pissed. "That's funny, coming from y'all. Sees how you were both on my ass for helping you train..."

Grace sighs. "Spencer..." Spencer doesn't pay attention.

"Listen, Spencer...." Billy saids. Spencer cuts him off. "You know what? Shut up!"

"How are you going to call me a betrayer for helping Jordan when Jordan himself didn't follow doctor's orders? How are you mad at me for training Jordan when you should be more upset by your son who again, didn't follow doctor's orders...."

Jordan tries to say something but Spencer keeps talking. "I help a brother out and suddenly I'm the bad guy? You should have checked on your son's health but you were too focused on football to even notice."

Olivia eventually goes to Spencer and holds his hand. "Spencer, I think that's enough.. maybe we should sit down and wait on Coop..." Spencer looks at her. Holding hands. He sighs and takes a deep breath. He then looks at Jordan and Billy again.

"You know what? I think you guys should just go. I don't feel like talking to either of you. I have to see if my best friend is ok..."

"Come on, Spencer...." Jordan pleads.

"I said, leave!" Spencer surprisingly yells out. Olivia holds him. "Spencer...." Jordan and Billy both sigh and eventually leave. Everyone sighs and they all sit down to wait again.

20 minutes go by and Spencer is still sitting in the waiting room, awaiting Coop's results. As he is going through his thoughts, he hears a soft voice. He looks at Olivia with two cups in her hands. She is smiling.

"I was thinking of giving you some sort of energy.. (chuckles) you seem pretty tired and stressed. Figured I give you comfort for the time being." Spencer smiles and takes the cup of coffee.

"Thanks..." He saids, softly.

They sit in silence for a few minutes before Spencer starts speaking. "Look, Liv... I'm sorry for yelling at your family. I didn't-" Olivia cuts him off.

"It's ok Spencer. I know you didn't mean it. But we shouldn't worry about them right now. What matters is your best friend and how she is going to make it. She is going to be happy to see you. Patience as well." She smiles and holds his hand.

"She will get through this."

Spencer smiles and gives her a kiss on the lips. "Thanks, babe... I really needed that."

Olivia was blushing. She didn't expect the babe word. "You're welcome, babe."

After Spencer and Olivia's conversation, the doctor comes out to say:

"Tamia Cooper?"

At that moment, everyone stood to find out if Coop was going to be ok or not.
