"Stop watching those gossip shows," Minseo huffed at her sister, yanking the phone from the younger girls hand.
"Give me my phone back!" Mimie complained but Minseo just rolled her eyes and dropped it into the bottom of her back.
"Get up, we're going out." Minseo did not execute tough love well, it came across more as aggressive aggression. Mimie was not quite ready for aggressive aggression so her sister's attitude was simply making her feel worse.
"I don't feel like it." she defied the older woman, hugging her tear-stained accent pillow even closer to her aching body. Was Mimie aching from the pain inside her heart or because she'd barely moved since she'd gotten home and now her muscles were stiff? Who could say?
"Tough," Here came more aggression, "You've wasted a week being pathetic and sulking on that sofa, and I'm over it. We're going to do something today." Minseo snatched the literally safety blanket from where it was protectively wrapped around Mimie, who managed a small whine before throwing her cuddling pillow at the perpetrator of her grumpiness.
"Don't you have work?" Mimie sassed, not even attempting to mask her displeasure. Not that Minseo was at all phased, she'd seen her sister at her worst hundreds of times growing up. This was nothing, especially because Minseo knew Mimie wasn't aiming the hurt her way on purpose.
"It's Saturday," she rolled her eyes at the younger woman, determined to remain horizontal.
"Oh,"
"See you need to get out of the house," Minseo was relentless, opening curtains to be deliberately irritating and forcing natural light on the self-made vampire. "You don't even know what day it is!"
"I don't care," If that wasn't the truest of statements. She didn't care, at all, about anything it seemed. Well, maybe one thing.
"If you don't get up and shower right now, I'm calling Hana and telling her everything," Not calling Hana had been the only thing Mimie asked of her sister all week.
"Don't you dare! Hana has enough on her plate right now!"
"Then get up!"
For the sake of her best friend, Mimie got up and stomped off to the bathroom. Her sister was right, she'd been sulking for the past week. After Sihyuk had booked her a flight home, she'd basically gone straight to bed and not gotten up since. In fairness to Minseo, it was a miracle she allowed Mimie to go on that way for a full week. It was like living with an animal, she wasn't washing, barely eating. She'd only bothered to change her underwear a couple of times in the past six days. Being clean felt so foreign to her body.
