We ran until we got to Ethan's house. When we got inside I shoved in front of Benny to see what happened.
"What's wrong?" I was breathing heavily. "Where's Marley and Rory?"
"We thought they were with you!" Ethan shouted.
"No, they're not with us!" I was panicking.
"Everyone stop yelling!" Erica shouted as she came through the door.
"Look who showed up," Benny said.
"Shut up," she hissed. "Did you guys fix your stupid problem?"
"Ugh, no," Sarah said.
"What are you talking about?" I asked.
Ethan answered me. "Well, Sarah was here babysitting. We found a Just Dance game, Sarah invited Erica to have a Just Dance battle, because you know, Erica secretly likes that game-"
"Shut up!" Ethan was cut off my Erica.
"It's true," he said.
"Wait!" I yelled. "Did you guys call us over for a stupid reason?"
"No.. Not stupid," Ethan said. "Anyway, Erica came over, and we started playing. Erica got mad that I was dancing better than her, and we kept going," Ethan looked at Benny. "Benny, I needed you to come and tell who truly danced better."
"That's what you wanted?" Benny yelled.
"We ran all the way over here for THAT?!" I was annoyed.
"And we may have broke the TV. We wanted to know if Benny could use a spell to fix it," Ethan said.
"Oh, that's understandable. It would've been nice if you have told me that so I could BRING THE SPELL BOOK," Benny was frustrated.
"Calm down! You left it here," Ethan got the book and gave it to Benny.
"Okay, I'll try to fix it," he said, and he left.
"Anyway, my friends could be in trouble!" I exclaimed.
Everyone got silent.
"I'm going to look for her," I said.
"DON'T LEAVE!" Benny called from a distance and ran to me. "I'm coming with you."
"Wait!" Erica stopped us.
"What?" I asked.
"You could just text them," she rolled her eyes.
"Oh, yeah; that's a good idea..." I felt kind of stupid.
I pulled out my phone and texted Marley. 'Where are you? Are you okay??' I typed.
Benny texted Rory. We waited for at least five minutes, and there was no reply.
"I'm going," I started to walk out the door.
"It hasn't even been ten minutes!" Erica said.
"Yeah, but Marley never takes that long to reply," I continued to walk out the door.
"Wait!" Benny gently grabbed my shoulder.
"What?!"
"I'm going with you. I'm not letting you go alone," he quietly said.
"Thank you.." I gently smiled, but then turned around to find my friend.
"But what about the TV?" Ethan asked.
"And you have to prove that I'm the better dancer!" Erica yelled to Benny.
"You guys can take the consequences for the broken TV, and Sarah, please determine who can dance better," Benny yelled back.
Benny and I walked in the dark together to find them. We didn't know where they were, but I really hope they weren't in trouble.
