Marley and I walked downstairs. She was careful since she was wearing heels. They weren't too high, but high enough to trip in.

Marley's dad had already opened the door.

"Marley; you have someone here to pick you up. Is he the friend you were with last night?" her dad asked.

"Yes, he is, and he has asked me on a date," Marley said.

"He didn't ask me about it first."

"He didn't have time."

"I apologize. May I take your daughter out on a date? I really like her," we heard Rory say. We haven't seen him yet, and he hasn't seen us.

"Yes, you seem like a nice boy. I hope you two have a good time," Marley's dad said, and then he looked over to Marley. "You look beautiful," he said.

"Thank you," she replied, and then she continued to walk down the stairs. I stood with my parents, who were watching. We were at an angle to where we could see both of them. When Rory saw her, his face was full of happiness and joy.

"Wow, Marley. You look beautiful," Rory smiled, and his words made her blush. Both Marley and Rory's eyes sparkled with happiness.

"Thank you, Rory. You look very nice as well," Marley said.

Rory was wearing a tuxedo, something I thought I would never see him wear.

Before they left, they waved at us, and Marley smiled at me as the door shut. My best friend was now on a date with a vampire.

~ Marley's POV ~

We closed the door behind us. My hand was intertwined with Rory's and we were walking down the road. It wasn't dark yet, since it was 6:00 PM. I know, early for a date, but it's okay.

"You look so beautiful tonight," Rory said a second time.

"Thank you so much," I blushed. I was so happy. This was already wonderful.

"I'm serious. You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen," he looked into my eyes and I felt butterflies. That was the nicest thing any guy has every said to me.

"Really?" I asked. We had stopped walking and now we were holding hands and looking at each other, just talking.

"Yes. I would never lie to you, Marley. You are so beautiful. I wish you weren't leaving tomorrow, but I'm so glad to have you here with me for now," he said, still looking into my eyes.

"Wow. Thank you, Rory. You are the nicest, greatest, most wonderful guy I have ever met," I told him. It was so true, even though he was a vampire.

"Thank you," now he was blushing. I never thought I could make him blush. He was looking down at our locked hands and smiling, smiling so big. He's so adorable.

"Your welcome," I said, and we started walking again. "Where are we going tonight?" I asked.

"Is a restaurant okay?" he suggested.

"It's perfect," I smiled.

"Good, and don't worry. There are vampire restaurants, but I'm not taking you to one," he said.

"There are?!" I was actually surprised.

"Yeah," he laughed.

"That's so cool! I still don't want to go into one though."

We kept walking and talking. I could talk to him so easily. I was so comfortable around him. He's so amazing. I could talk to him all day.

We finally made it to the restaurant. It looked so nice. He held the door for me and we walked inside. He's such a gentlemen.

~ Natalie's POV ~

Marley was on her date with Rory, and I had texted Benny to meet me at the park. I was on my way and he texted me and told me he was on his way also. I wanted to see him today so I can ask him about the wizard thing. I hope Marley's date with Rory is going well. I must admit, they are really cute together.

~ Benny's POV ~

Natalie had told me this morning that she wanted to talk to me. I'm now on my way to the park because she's going to meet me there. I don't know what she wants to talk about, but I'm really hoping she likes me. Maybe that's what it's about. She wants to tell me she loves me, but she wants to tell me in person. I hope that's it, because I really like her. This gives me hope.

I've made it to the park now, and I see Natalie, sitting on a bench. It's the same one Rory and Marley were sitting on when Rory asked Marley on a date. Maybe that means something. I hope so.

"Hey Natalie," I smiled and sat next to her on the park bench.

"Hey," she smiled back at me. Her smile is so beautiful.

"Did you want to talk about something?" I asked.

"Yeah. Remember last night when we were going to Ethan's house?" she asked.

Maybe she liked being alone with me. Maybe she felt a connection. Maybe she's telling her feelings for me.

"Yeah, I do," I said.

"Well, there was something that I noticed. I didn't realize it until today," she said.

Please, please be that you like me, I thought.

"Remember when they talked about the broken TV?" she asked.

Oh, well that means it must not be her feelings for me.

"Yeah, I remember."

"Ethan said that he thought you could do a spell to fix it. What does that mean?" she asked.

Oh, I forgot to tell her I'm a wizard. Oh no, I hope this doesn't go like last time did with the vampire stuff. I have no problem with her knowing. I just hope she doesn't avoid me.

"Please don't be mad at me. I'm a wizard. I forgot to tell you before" I said, and she didn't looked shocked at all.

"Wow," is all she said.

"You believe me, right?" I asked.

"Of course, I do," she smiled. "It's not as bad as being a vampire. Also, Ethan is the one that brought it up, so I know you guys weren't lying because there would be no reason to at the time," she said.

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier. I'm so, so happy you're my friend," I said.

"Thank you," she smiled, and then I gave her a hug without thinking about it.

I wrapped my arms around her and she hugged me back. It was so warm. I know I've hugged her before, but every time feels like the first time. I just wish she was mine, but that never happens to me. She'll probably get weirded out if I tell her my feelings, so I'll just keep it inside.
