Chapter 3

The relation between Ranboo and Techno in this chapter is all brotherly, nothing more.

Demons: Creatures of the Nether. Horns usually grow in around the age of 5, but can on occasion will grow in late. The chance of growing wings is almost as rare as gaining powers, and even then most wings don't grow to be big enough to hold a hybrids weight. If you do happen to gain wings there are different types that come with different defences. Scaled wings are usually piercing resistant and can withstand anything from a bow to a netherite sword. Wings can end up with different color stains, also indicating different defences. Blue stained wings are water resistant. Demons are fire resistant, but water harms them. Water-proof wings are a blessing to them no matter how useless they seem. Pink stained or even colored wings give a transformation charm. It means that demon hybrids can transform into a smaller demon form, in which you will always be able to fly in no matter the size of the wings.

Of the chance that an Enderman hybrid and a Demon hybrid mix, the chance to gain wings not only rises, but they also have more dragon-like wings rather than demon wings.

Ranboo's POV

I woke up. There was a small amount of light pouring in from the window on the other side of the room.

It seemed like I was on the floor, and there was some sort of warmth surrounding me. I didn't care what it was at this point, I was cold. I cuddled closer into the object or person in hopes of gaining any warmth.

I did. It was super warm, and I was supper comfortable. I moved my head a little after a couple of minutes to see what I was on, only to find it was Techno.

I quickly got up off of him, not wanting to annoy him in any way. I think I woke him up though, he got up almost immediately after.

"You doin' good Ranboo? You had a panic attack last night."

I quickly rushed out of Techno's room and into my room to grab my memory book and a quill. There wasn't any paper in Techno's room and I couldn't see a pen anywhere.

I quickly came back and opend my book to an empty page before dipping the quill into one of Techno's ink pots and I quickly started writing.

All good! It happens alot with memory problems and such. When I'm in an area for a long time and wake up somewhere else, I usually don't remember going there. It brings back bad times of the past.

"Mk. Do you wanna move to a room with someone or stay in your own room...?"

I wouldn't want to bother anyone! Besides, not many would sleep with an Enderman that not only has nightmares, but they wake everyone up with distorted screams. The kids hated it when I had a nightmare, the screeching had gotten to be too much for them.

Truth was, was hated being alone. But everyone hated me for everything. Not sleeping, past trauma, trauma I'm going through now, my looks, anything and everything.

"I have a super big room and I have insomnia. If your anything like a normal human(hybrid) being, you lock your door at night. It would suck to wake up from a nightmare to have a panic attack in a locked room where no one can get to you."

You're very sure that you'd be okay with it? Absolutely positive?

"Ye I'm sure bud. I also have nightmares, I get the feeling."
