Shifting

Chapter 3

Izuku POV

As soon as I step out of the portal, I am in a room. It's rocking back and forth. It looks like a cabin. There's a bed in one corner, a desk in another, and and a closet along the wall. As I'm about to look through a window, the door opens and someone walks in. He has on what looks like pirate clothes.

"Hi! I assume you are Izuku?" I look at him shocked for a minute then nod my head.

"My name is hizashi. And before you ask, the moon goddess told me what was going to happen. I am your biological father."

"O-oh... ok... WAIT WHAT?!?!" I'm so confused.

"Izuku, I'm your biological dad. I'm also a pirate! The goddess just picked the life that would make you the most happy! That life just happened to be my way of life! I know you must be confused, you can ask any questions you have. When we finish we will get you changed and you will become my 1st mate! You will learn everything you need to know!" That made me a little more at ease. At least I know I'll be happy!... I at least hope so...

"Ok, why did my mom shift? She left you behind... didn't she? And what do you mean pirate?! And first mate?!?! How did you and mom meet? What life did she have here before?! And-" he cut off my mumbling.

"Woah! Woah! Easy there! One at a time please! Haha. Your mom had that problem too. And to answer all of your questions, I don't really know why she shifted. She seemed happy and full of life when I was with her... I don't really know. She did indeed leave me behind, I was heartbroken. But I learned to live without her. It was hard, it still is, but I do my best! And we aren't your typical pirates. We give any any extra money and loot we get to the poorer parts of the kingdom! The places the king neglects. By first mate, I mean my right hand! You will be by my side and consult with any decisions I need to make. Your mom and I met when I walked into a town to give some money and she was the one I gave it to and everything happened from there. She was a merchants daughter as far as I know! I believe that's all the questions before I cut you off... sorry."

I look at him dumbfounded, " You... caught all of my rambling? How? No one ever catches it..." how did he even do that? Everyone either ignores it or get me to repeat everything slower.

"Oh! Well as I said your mother rambled like that as well! It's not a new thing for me! Ive just learned to listen really carefully. No matter who I'm talking to."

"Oh, that actually makes a lot of sense! I think you actually answered all of my questions! I'm excited to get to know you!"

"You as well izuku." After he said that, he lead me outside of the cabin and onto the main deck of the ship. I saw so many people running around.

"Oi! Everyone stand in front of me! You need to meet someone!"

"Aye aye captain!" Everyone responded.

"Uh, if I may captain", my father nodded his head to continue," We are in the middle of the sea. We've been on the sea for weeks. There no way we couldn't of meet him now. Unless something else happened..."

"I was going to explain that Jack haha. This is Izuku. He has just shifted from the other realm. The moon goddess has given me the honor of being his guardian and life he will live! I also just so happen to be his father. He is from here on out my 1st mate! We are going to teach him to be a pirate like us and everything he needs to know about this world! If I figure out any of you AND I MEAN ANY OF YOU have toyed with the knowledge he knows, there will be a serious punishment! Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes sir!" Geez, dad can be scary if he wants to be. That's intimidating. I'm excited to learn everything I need to know! After that talk, dad guides me back to his cabin and pulls out some clothes for me to wear. Since I am an omega, he hands me a flowy long sleeve shirt, a black corset, a floor length flowy skirt with brown leather pants to wear under it. So I can take off the skirt if I need to. I really like the outfit he gave me.

"I'm sorry this is all I have for an omega. If I had been given more of a notice I would've gotten something better for you."

"It's awesome! Thank you! Though I do have a question." He nods at me," Can we burn the clothes I have on? I want no reminders of my old life."

"Of course we can son! Though, we will have to wait until we get it land." I nod. He leaves and I change into the clothes he gave me. When I'm done I put the clothes I was wearing back into the closet and walk out onto the deck. Dad guides me to the front of the ship and has me look out onto the sea. I see a vast blue. And I realize I'm finally free from the hell I once lived. I've been freed. I'm finally free! I start tearing up. I turn around and hug him.

"Thank you... thank you so much. You saved me." I said as I start crying. I turn around and look back at the sea. I'm finally free. Free from kacchan. Free from mom. No, inko. I'm free from the hell called school. I'm free from torment. I'm finally free to live my life again. I've never been happier.
