Chapter 7

Kirishima POV (the same POV 2 chapters in a row what?!?!)

As I step out of the portal, I feel a really intense heat. As I open my eyes, I see a forge? Before I can figure out what's going on, I see woman with teal hair approach me. She has a really big smile on her face.

"Hello! My name is Emi Fukukado! Most people call me Ms. Joke though! The moon goddess told me what is happening! I'm your new guardian! You're Eijiro Kirishima right?!" She seems really enthusiastic. She had grime all along her body and had heat protective gloves on.

"I'm a blacksmith! That's what I'm going to teach you! Are there any questions you have?" Ok that sounds fun! I think I might enjoy it! I've never actually thought of making stuff before!

"Yes, I do. Where are we? What kind of things do you make?" I didn't have very many questions. I'm already happier being away from UA permanently.

"We are in the Shinso kingdom! We are on the coast of the Musuki sea! I mainly make swords, daggers, and arrows! I can do other thing too though! Are their any other questions you have?"

"Now that you ask, yes I have one more! Do you have any kids I need to know about?"

"noPe! None that I'm aware of! Hahah!" She said as she emphasized the "P" in nope.

"Ok! I don't have any more questions!"

"Great! Then let's get you changed and fed! Then I'll start teaching to forge!" After she said that we walked out of the door of the forge. She led me behind to a house. She opened the door and let me in. She guided me to a room and opened the door. She walked over to a closet and pulled a red vest, white shirt, black pants, and boots. Then, walked back over to me and handed the clothes over.

"You can change in here then head to the kitchen we passed on the way here!" She walked out and closed the door. After she left, I changed into the clothes. I liked them. They were surprisingly comfortable! After I was done changing, I walk to the kitchen we passed. She set a meal in front of me.

"Thank you! You didn't have to do that!" I said to her thankfully.

"Don't worry about it! It's what I'm here for! To be honest I've always wanted children but I my mate died before we could have kids." She looked down sadly. I feel bad. I think I hit a sensitive topic...

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything." I said looking at the food.

"No! Don't be sorry! It happened YEARS ago! I'm recovered from it! Really I'm fine! I'm just happy I don't live alone anymore! Haha!" I look up, happy she wasn't mad. I thought she would hit me or yell. I'm glad she didn't. I had to remind myself that she wasn't my parents.

"I'm sorry in advance. I went through some tough shit before I came here. I know there are things I need to unlearn." I said looking at my lap.

"Stop it! Your fine! I get it I didn't have the best childhood either! We will work through it together! I need to learn how to help raise you! We are both learning and unlearning here!" I flinched a little bit when she said stop it.

I thought she might hit me. She noticed that I flinched. As she was talking she gently set her hand on my shoulder as reassurance. I felt better when she did that. I wasn't used to gentle touches. I don't remember the last time I don't flinched when someone touched me. I leaned into her touch a little and I saw how that made her smile.

As we ate, she talked to me about the customs, life, and holidays here in this realm. I realized just how different the two realms were. I couldn't make any parallels between the two. Well, except they both celebrated birthdays. Other than that, nothing was similar.

~ 1 year time skip ~

I was in the forge with Emi. We were making sword orders. While I was hammering the hot metal, I thought about the past year. Emi taught me how to make swords and other weapons.

She helped me unlearn everything that was drilled into me. She taught me that being gay was ok. I wasn't a demon or demented for being like that. She taught me that it wasn't a choice and that's just how I am. I still remember how I told her I was gay.

~ flashback 6 months ~

I was pacing in my room while Emi was making dinner. To say I was anxious was an understatement. I was on the verge of a extremely intense anxiety attack. I was going to tell her I was gay. It wasn't as if I felt unsafe if I told her. It didn't feel like she would hate me when I told her. If anything it was the opposite. I know she'll still love and support me but, there was still an if. What if she wasn't that way? What if she was like my parents? I was knocked out of my thoughts by Emi calling me saying that dinner was ready. I took a deep breath to center myself and walked out of my room.

During the entire dinner I was fighting and trembling. Even my breathing was uneven. Emi noticed.

"Hey, are you ok? You look like your about to have a anxiety attack? Is there something bothering you? Do you want to talk about it?" She looked at me concerned. Though, I didn't see it. I was looking at my lap. I took a deep shaky breath steadying myself. I timidly looked up to meet her eyes.

"Actually yes. There is something I want to tell you. Though I'm really scared..."

"Oh! Are you ok?! Who do i need to kill?!?!" I forgot how overprotective she was over me. She knew all the shit I went through . She made sure I always felt loved and that someone loved me.

"What?! No one! You don't have to kill anyone! It's just that... u-umm...", I take a deep steady breath and look back down at my lap, " I'm gay." I didn't meet her eyes. It was dead silent. I started getting worried and prepared to get hit. I was not expecting to hear her laugh.

"HAHA!!! Oh Ei!!! That's funny!! Did you not know I'm gay too?!?! Haha!!" I shoot my head up so fast I felt like I would get whip-flash.

"WHAT?!?! Your gay?!?!"

"Yes sweetie! Did I never tell you my mate was a woman omega?!?!" She said still giggling a little.

"NO!!!" Though the more I thought about it, the more I realized she was. She was an alpha. All the little comments about girls being cute. All of it.

"Wow... I can't believe I was so worried! I feel dumb..." I said a little embarrassed.

"Don't be! I never actually told you. I get how you didn't notice though. I'm very low key about it." She said while doing a hair flip mockingly.

I laughed. I seemed to be doing that a lot more recently...

~ end of flashback ~

I giggle to myself.

"What's so funny huh?!?!" Emi comes up behind me Messing with my hair.

"Nothing! I'm just thinking about when I came out or you!" She started giggling at the memory too. Before we can say more we hear the door open. I volunteered to go to the front so she can keep working. When I get there I see a really cute green headed boy...

Woohoo!! Two chapters in 1 day! I don't have school because of a snow storm! And I wasn't scavenging for words and phrases when writing this! I'm getting better!! I got to the 1000 word goal really easily and surpassed it by more than 200 words!! Yay!! I hope you liked this chapter!! LET THE ROMANCE BEGIN!!! Have a good morning/ afternoon/ evening!
