Shifting

Chapter 16

Izuku POV

I am so excited! I get to meet with Hitoshi today!! I haven't seen him in months!!! He can meet Ei! I really miss him! He is always so fun to be around, and I hate not being able to see him more. I've told Ei a lot about him. He is happy I've had some close friends before him and I wasn't just limited to the ship. He thinks its cool how the 2nd in line to the crown is in support of us and is good friends with the captain of the ship.

We are about to dock in the town closest to the castle. We should be docked in about 30 minutes. I haven't seen him in 4 months. A lot has happened since I've seen him last. I wonder if anything big has happened to him. I honestly know something has happened. I mean something happens almost every day in the castle. I wouldn't be surprised if something big happened to him. something big always happens to him every time I see him. I love seeing him! he is so much fun to hang out with!

"Hey, you ok Izu? you were staring off into space. is there something on your mind you want to share?" Ei broke me out of my thoughts. I look at him and then out to sea. Wait, we're docked. Wow I was in my thoughts for a long time.

"what? oh, yeah I'm fine! I'm just excited to see Hitoshi! I haven't seen him in what feels like forever."

"Oh! alright! I'm excited to meet him too! you talk about him a lot. you two seem to be really good friends!" he said with a smile. He's happy I have friends.

"I mean, I hope we are friends. I've known him since we were 15. I hope he considers me a friend! hehe!"

"I know. I'm excited to meet him!" he said with a big smile on his face.

we tell the crew we are going to meet Hitoshi now and to not let the ship burn down. they, of course, said no promises. We all giggled at that. Ei and I walked off and out of town. We walked into the capital and found the cafe we are supposed to meet at. he isn't there yet, though. We are a couple minutes early. We wait a few more minutes when I see a purple set of hair walking towards us. I wait for him to get closer before I got up and ran to hug him. when i got there he huffed and hugged right back.

"Hi!!!! I'm so happy to see you! it feels like its been forever!" I said to him while bouncing up and down.

"Zuku, its been 4 months. We've gone longer without seeing each other. I mean, you survived. and it seems met someone too." he said when his eyes landed on Ei.

"What? No, silly. this is Ei. I've told you about him. Sit down. I have something to show you." I said to him. He sat down and looked at me expectantly. I looked at Ei, which exposed my mark on my neck.  Hito gasped.

"I'VE WAITED SO LONG TO MEET YOU!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!! You hurt him I hurt you." He yelled out.

"Hito! No! Don't say that!" I yelled at him.

"Haha! I'm just kidding! Calm down! Calm down!" He said while laughing a little. I just huffed. Ei laughed too.

"Hey, I'm Ejirio Kirishima! Nice to meet you, Man! You must be shinso! I've heard so much about you leading up to this meeting!" Ei said. I got a little flustered. He just said I talk about hito... Yeesh.

"Haha. Yes I'm shinso. Nice or meet you. Zuku talks about you too." Oh geez. I bet I'm as red as a tomato. Good goddess... they both look at me and see me blushing and, the audacity, they start laughing! Rude.

"Izu! You are blushing as red as a tomato! You look like a strawberry! It's cute!" That just made me blush more.

After a few minutes, they stop teasing me and we settle down to chat. A waiter comes by and we order drinks. We just chat until the drinks arrive.

"Hey, just a heads up, we are capturing your general of your army during the training exercise. We will give him back for ransom. We won't hurt him my crew knows that. Just a heads up." Shin just looked bored.

"Ok. As long as you don't hurt him." Then we moved on. It's that easy. He knows we won't hurt him and knows the money will be used for good, so he doesn't care.

"Ok, you said you have something exciting to tell me in a letter you somehow managed to reach me. What is it?!" I said leaning in my seat a little. Since I travel a lot and live on the sea, it's rare I get any letters. It's hard to catch me. But, hito managed to do it.

"Well, my family now has someone who shifted. He shifted about 3 and 1/2 months ago. Right after our last meeting!" He said. He looked excited for once. Wait, kacchan shifted like 3 and 1/2 months ago too... na. It can't be him.

"We've gotten close over these last few months. I think you'll really like him. He's really mellow. Sure he has a foul mouth but he barely yells." Yeah, there's no way to him. Kacchan is the loudest person I know. Ha!

"Really?! What's his name?! You should have brought him! He sounds nice!" I said.

"His name is Katsuki Bakugou." Ha... WHAT?!?! I look at Ei and he looks at me. We both have wide eyes. They hold both surprise, worry, but most of all, fear.

"Are y'all ok? Y'all look like y'all have see a ghost!"

I look at Ei. "Y-yeah. We're ok... hey, I need to tell you something too!" I say directing the conversation elsewhere. Ei looks at me then at his arm then back at me. I nod and he nods. Hito is just confused.

"You know how Ei shifted and so did I? Well, our last one shifted too." I said hito's eyes widened.

"Soulmate? As in kacchan? As in the one who bullied you kacchan?" I nod and so does Ei. He asks again and again for clarification. We say yes every time. We then tell him of our deal. We talk for much longer about different random things that have happened in the last 4 months. It was great.

Ei and I were laying in bed that night, content.

"I like him izu. We was nice. But, Kat. He lives with shinso."

"I know," I turn around so we are facing each other, " I'm worried too. We just need to be careful." I said he nodded the we fell asleep.
