"Ugh, gross."

Recovery Girl's lips removed themselves from my cheek and settled back on her face. My body felt heavy like lead and my eyelids drooped, although I could wiggle my feet to my heart's content. "Don't act all disgusted with me," she chastised as she stepped off the stool. Hawks took a step back, turning away to laugh at me. She sighed, shaking her head. "I already have to deal with a kid who can't stop breaking his limbs, don't become a problem child too." With that, she turned around and left the room, leaving me and Keigo alone.

He raised his arms above his head and stretched, groaning slightly before bouncing on the balls of his feet and settling his hands on his hips, looking down at me. "So, I've got good news and bad news," he began, and my face dropped.

"What, you couldn't tell me this last night?" I asked exasperated, and he raised his eyebrows.

"And ruin our precious moment? Not a damned chance Sunny," he teased, ruffling my hair. I puffed my cheeks and crossed my arms, nodding my head at him. "Good or bad first."

"Bad, obviously," I scoffed, putting out my hands. He rocked back on his heels and stuffed his hands in his pockets.

He cleared his throat, pounding his fist against his chest a bit. "Well, bad news is that when those people kidnapped you in your house, they kinda destroyed everything," he broke the news a little bit too calmly, and he couldn't stop the smile that blossomed on his features.

My eye twitched. "Well, that's shitty... And the good news?" I asked dully, now a little disheartened.

He puffed his chest at that, ruffling his feathers. "You've got a new roommate!" He surprised, shaking his hands to accentuate the positive news. I gritted my teeth.

"Haha, yeah the hobo is now my roommate, how funny," I snapped, glowering at the ash blonde. "Real mature, Cluckers."

He did a double-take, his amber eyes widening. "Wha- no, I'm you're new roommate, dumbass," he chided, playfully smacking the back of my head. I scrunched my brow in confusion, and as I thought, the longer the line on my mouth became. He sighed, explaining the situation. "I'm taking you in, you'll live with me in my penthouse."

I blinked in shock. "But... Why would you do that? Why not just let me get my own apartment," I asked suspiciously, squinting my eyes, and he rolled his, gripping my arm as hoisting me up off of the bed.

"Because I like hanging out with you, duh. Also, with Girl's visit, you've been discharged," he said with satisfaction and looked me up and down. "You got everything you need?" I looked down. My clothes were pretty ordinary, just a grey T-shirt with black leggings. I looked back up to him and nodded, and he grinned, taking me in his arms. Well then, it's about damn time we left this place in style!" I wrapped my arms around his neck as he crawled us out the window, struggled with his wings but eventually he crawled out. I held my breath, afraid that the next thing I would say would offend his precious ego.

He flew across the sky, his gaze casting downwards every few beats of his wings, making sure I was still there. I tightened my arms around him slightly, and the serious look on his face relaxed. We landed on the balcony and stepped off. He quickly jogged over to the door, swinging it open and winked. "Welcome home, Sun Keeper." I rolled my eyes and wandered in. Surprise surprise it was-

Literally the same as normal, except for the banner on the ceiling that wrote HERE COMES THE SUN. I pointed upwards and raised my eyebrows. "Really, Keigo? This is what you could come up with?" He shrugged his shoulders, a small smile tugging at the edges of his lips. I shook my head. "I'm disappointed. Is this really what the the Third Ranked hero could come up with?" I snickered, and he raised his eyebrows this time. An Oh I'm definitely about to a know-it-all asshole here expression stained his face as he sauntered up to me, each step swinging his body as he came closer.

"Well, to correct you, it's actually number two now," he grinned, and handed me a letter. "This came in when you were at the hospital, I think you might want to see it," he suggested, and I looked at him through squinted eyes before snatching the letter from his grasp. I used my nails and deftly opened the seal, slipping out the letter with ease, he whistled, clearly jealous of my letter opening skills. I glanced upwards at him before settling my eyes on the letter.

Rankings? I scooted my eyes down, looking for the fourteenth spot, or any spot in the 10-20's. My expression twisted as I looked lower, scanning the page. I couldn't find my name, had I really disappointed people that much? Keigo snickered and pointed up closer towards the top. "Read here," he murmured, and under his finger was my name. In the number three slot.

The breath was knocked from my lungs, the paper slipping out of my hands. I scarcely knew how to blink or breathe. "That... That's a joke, right?" I said, stammering, and he glanced downwards as if to say check again. So I picked it up and read it again, and sure enough, there was my name.

1. Todoroki Enji - Endeavor
2. Classified - Hawks
3. Seraya Josephine - Sun Keeper

"No fucking way," I breathed, my hands shaking. "What are they thinking? Wha- I was a complete mess for an entire month, what the hell?" I exclaimed, throwing the sheet in the air. I paced back and forth, chewing my nails. Keigo sighed and gripped my shoulder, turning me around to face him.

"Look at me," he said, and took two fingers and alternated between both of our eyes. He picked up the sheet and smiled, pointing at our names. "That's very real, and you deserve it. You showed people that you aren't just physically strong, but mentally strong too. You also showed people that you have a good heart, rescuing those orphans," he gently stroked my cheek, and I gradually calmed down. "You saved a bunch of hopeless kids. That woman had been scheming for decades, selling off children to auctions for their Quirks. You brought down a huge villain, and everyone has noticed that, and respected that," he said delicately. I still shook my head. It just didn't seem real.

"I didn't... do that much, I almost died anyways, don't they know that?" I protested, backing away from him. He sighed and ruffled my hair, and I smacked his hand away, crossing my arms afterwards. "Something's not sitting well with me," I mumbled. Keigo rolled his eyes and popped out his phone and began to dial a number. I peeked over top and he held it away, flicking my nose. I scrunched it and backed away, fuming. "Don't flick me," I whimpered, rubbing the hurt gently.

"Hello, I'd like to place an order for delivery please," He inquired loudly, and I moaned, lying down on the couch and smother my face with a pillow. "Oh yeah, two large pepperonis, two large garlic breads, oh can we add a chicken barbeque pizza as well, sorry. Oh, and I was wondering if you guys have a bottle of champagne for sale too." Unintelligible words spoke through the phone, and Keigo nodded, smiling brightly. "That'll be absolutely everything! Thank you so much! My address is..." I sat up and looked around the apartment, bored out of my mind. In the corner there was a tower of manga, some featuring Endeavor. I smiled nostalgically at that, remembering the years as a child where I was obsessed with him.

He would always remain my first hero.

Keigo rested his chin on my shoulder, wrapping his arms around me. "Whatcha doin' cutie," he casually asked, watching my expression. I ran my hand over the cover of an Endeavor story, smiling softly. He hummed, vibrating my shoulder and neck. "Are you an Endeavor fan too?" I nodded distantly, placing the book down.

I shifted my gaze to him, catching amber eyes. "He saved me when I was a kid," I mentioned, turning to face him. He didn't let go, instead backing me up and into a wall. I cursed as the stack of books fell, my heart wrenching. Keigo shrugged, his attention wholly on me.

"Don't worry about that," he shrugged it off, instead gently nosing my ear. Heat exploded in all parts of my body and I froze, completely stiff. "So he was your hero?" He whispered into your ear, and I swallowed dryly, nodding my head. "Interesting," he purred, "I thought I was your hero?" He bit my ear softly, and I felt my back arch in response. He chuckled. "You're so cute Josie, makes me wanna eat you up." A furious flame in my stomach raged, and I gasped as he trailed his lips down my neck, slowly unhinging himself from propriety. I shuddered. So this was what it meant to be prey.

I summoned the courage and placed my hands on his shoulders, gently pushing him away. I sucked in deep breaths as his arms loosened. "S-Sorry, I'm just... Not ready," I winced, and he sighed, bringing me in. He pressed his forehead against mine and looked into my eyes, and my breath caught. His eyes were like warm, liquid honey, soothing the raw pain that hurt inside.

"It's all good," he assured, and pressed a quick peck to my head before crashing on the couch. He patted the cushion beside him, motioning me to sit next to him. "Come over here, let's watch a movie together." I smiled and slid over, plopping down next to him. He eased into the couch, relaxing as his right hand messed around with the controls, searching through Netflix. He wrapped his left arm around my shoulder casually, and I eased into the warmth, not wanted to be without his touch. "What do you like to watch?" He asked through a yawn, and I grinned up at him.

"Documentaries!" I cheered, and his face dropped.

"You're joking," he deadpanned, horror shining in his eyes.

"Mmm, nope," I replied, and I reached over and plucked the remote from his hands and skimmed through the documentary list. "Ooh, I'm always down for some Planet Earth," I gushed, deciding between which one.

"Pick one with lots of birds," Hawks sighed, looking defeated. I giggled, and chose one about exotic islands. Once the movie began, I snuggled up against him subconsciously, and he blinked in surprise.

He could get used to this.
