After a couple of days of getting back into my hero work, my agency had received the fated call. I launched myself over the desk and bolted straight for the phone, hastily bringing it up to my ears and answering breathlessly. "Y-Yes, yes you have reached Sun Keeper's offices," I answered, and I heard an exhausted sigh on the other end of the phone.
"Hi Sun Keeper, It's Eraser Head," he said, a fluster creeping into his monotone voice. "Are you available today-"
"YES! ABSOLUTELY A THOUSAND TIMES YES!" I cried into the mic, dancing happily. I hung up and pulled out my wings. I slid open the glass door and threw myself over the edge, and everyone in my agency sighed in utter relief as I rose up into the sky. I propelled myself through the air as fast as I could go, my heart pulsing with energized flames that fed into my wings. A few people glanced upwards and waved, and I smiled warmly, dipping down with my hands open. I smacked hands with a couple of people, all of which who cheered as I banked back upwards into the sky.
I leaned into the wind, each of my flaming feathers catching the air stream as I glided freely through the sky. Nothing could beat a free flight. I spotted the school in the distance, and anxiety welled up in my chest. I shook my head, bringing forth my most charming smile. I had made sure my hero costume was pressed and clean, and that my hair was flawlessly tucked into its braided crown before I took off for work. I clasped my hands, imagining the wonderful kids that I would be meeting. I had the lesson plan already lined up in my mind, now I just needed to figure out what kind of personalities I was working with.
I landed in front of the school's open gates, stepping through them as I looked around in awe. So this was where All Might had attended. At least in appearances, it certainly lived up to the grandeur it boasted on its medias. Eraser Head sluggishly came over towards me, and looked down with tired eyes. "Done gawking?" He asked, and I nodded, following him into the building with extra pep. "When we are in front of the students, please just call me Aizawa. We are heroes, but in this building, teaching comes first. They will address you as Seraya, is that alright?" I nodded chipperly, admiring the luxurious layout of the school. He raised his eyebrows. "Didn't you go to a similar academy?" I whipped my head to him, before sighing softly and shaking my head.
"No, I went to a pretty under the radar school. I didn't really wanna be seen," I answered, and instilled a guarded look. Aizawa turned his head away and stopped by his classroom door. You could hear the kids yelling and shouting, and warmth bloomed in my heart at the sound.
Such happy kids...
Aizawa grumbled annoyedly, before turning to face me. "I'll announce a visitor, and then you'll follow in, sound good?" He explained, and I nodded excitedly. He rolled his eyes and swung open the door while I hid around the outside, giggling softly. "Alright, quiet down you guys. Remember when I told you about a special visitor? Well... She's arrived," they all mumbled guessing who it could be. I laughed boisterously, and their whispers abruptly stopped. Aizawa sighed. "Oh no."
I sauntered into the room, one hand on my hips. The class was completely wide-eyed as they took me in, one of them barely hanging on by the edge of his seat. I settled on to the desk, much to the annoyance of Aizawa, and then flicked my hand. "Yo," I greeted, and they burst into an uproar.
"HOLY SHIT IT'S SUN KEEPER!"
"LANGUAGE, DENKI!"
"I CAN'T BELIEVE SHE'S TEACHING US!"
A small, timid boy with a bright expression on his freckled face looked up at me with awe. I smiled softly, and his face blew up, becoming beat red. "A-Aizawa, why is such a powerful hero teaching us today..."
"Because I wanted to!" I beamed proudly. "For the record, you all can call me Seraya. I'm only a few years older, so I don't really care if you bother with the formalities," I winked, and the class slowly began to hush. "I've been tasked with teaching you lovely chicklets about-"
"WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU CALLING CHICKLET, YOU OVERSIZED FLAMING VULTURE!"
"Quirk control," I finished, raising my eyebrow to the ash blonde. His red eyes glared at me viciously, burning a hole through me. I clasped my hands and bounded forward, leaning in front of him. "Oh, you! Bakugou Katsuki, right? I saw you on the television during the Sports Festival! I have to say, You're Quirk is quite inspiring!" I praised, and he ground his teeth in frustration.
"Of course it fucking is; I'm going to be the number one hero, how else would I get there," he spat angrily, and I raised my eyebrows.
"Oh? So you think that you could beat an oversized flaming vulture like myself do you?" I asked cheekily, and he stood up from his chair, matching my gaze.
"I WOULD WIPE THE FUCKING FLOOR WITH YOUR BITCHASS!" He roared, his hands sparking with explosions. I narrowed my eyes, before nodding my head.
I turned to Aizawa with a gleeful smile. "They say it's better to learn by doing, so, let's do!" I chirped, and turned to the rest of the class. "I can't wait to see all of your Quirks! You'll either be fighting me one on one or in groups against me, it doesn't matter either way," I stated, my eyes closed. "I'm going to be pushing you to see how you can use your Quirks, to force you to look a little deeper into what makes you tick. There's always a little something extra going on underneath the skin," I winked, and waved to Aizawa. "Lead the way~"
He rolled his eyes. Hopefully, she'd knock some sense into his class.
Hopefully.
