Chapter 2: Road to the Future

Road in the front of Tokyo Imperial Palace was wide enough for the army parade on the large scale altought maybe the scale is not big enough like the red squre in the USSR, but for the Japanese maybe this is good for use.

When Yotsuke Ishikawa began accept his role as Hirohito, Mitchi-no-Miya (Hirohit, Prince of Mitchi) and after accept his role as Sessho (Prince Regent) because his father Yoshihito, Emperor Taisho who has judge of his health issue can't execute the role of Emperor effectively.

After Ishikawa began as Sessho, he began to coordinat beetwen the military and the cabinet because according to history, the most fatal thing to Japanese defeat is they have none unified strategy and grand scheme of thing.

The most fatal of that is IJA and IJN have bitter rivality because this two can made prime minister resign from their seat, force the Emperor to take action to stabilize the situation. But the most crazy of all of this they try to kill prime minister but hope the Emperor will hear them complain because of this "purification action" of their.

Because of this, the most important decision is to merge both ministry of navy and army to create the new ministry of defence and the post can be carried by civilian, altought the post usualy by military man.

Because the army and the navy will resist this reorganisation as political intervetion, Ishikawa made the post of vice minister held one from the army and one from the navy so both brance will support this move.

Because of the unity of administration  of army and navy in the form of ministry of defence made one most crusial thing that made Japan lost was because lack of money from both brance made them fight tooth and nail. Another thing is the general staff that the member from army and navy to form the strategic plan after the amry and the navy submit their own plan.

After Ishikawa was in his own mind for a long time, someone said to something to him. He wear the field uniform of IJA and from the rank in his clouth, he was a colonel

"Tenno, everything is ready for army review and just waiting for your arrival."

"Thank you colonel, bring me to the platform for review. "

"That was my honour, Your Majesty."

After finish the speaking, the aide from the army show him the way to the podium. In the podium, he saw soldier from the army standing in from of the podium, after he arrive in the podium every soldier say

"Tenno Heika Banzai" (Long live the Emperor)  3x

After that kimigayo was sung and the army parade and review was begin

In the parade, the army band play one  of his favorite song with so much energy and stamina.

"Umi Yukaba" (If i go away to the sea)

"Mizuku kabane" (I shall be a corpse washed up)

"Yama yukaba" (If i go away to the mountain)

"Kusa musu kabane" (I shall be a corpse in the grass)

"Okimi no he ni koso shiname" (But if die for the Emperor)

"Kaerimi wa seji" (It will not be a regret)
