Chapter 12: The Stage of Diplomacy

July 5th 1945, (2605 koki), 1639 Central Calender, Second Civilazation/Continent of Mu, Second Superpower Mu

Technical Officer Myrus and his colleague Technical Officer Myhark was now in under great pressure from all side. From the Royal Family, from Parliment, and lastly from military. The cause of all of this pressure can be traced to the battle in the Mu-Leforian border a few month ago. In this battle, althought Mu achieved a victory, but the price was to big to bear. The lost of 2.500 and 100 fighter in a sigle battle in the border shocked Mu to the core. With Mu title as a Second Superpower in the world after Holy Mishrial Empire, Mu relied with the power of mechanical consept and science while the rest of the world was relied on magic. The reason why Mu was relied on mechanical rather than magic, there was historical reason about that.

About 12.000 years ago according to the historical record from that time, when Mu Continent was sent to this place, the people of Mu was faced with the native people who can use magic as their mean of attack. When was faced with such reality, their are really hepless with such mean of attack. Because of this native attack from the island that was now was know as Kingdom of Panganda. In this time, they fow the wonder of mechanical force an embrace it when it became clear the use of magic by the is really medicore and pitfull compared to native. Because of this single desision, Mu become what people know today, second superpower who relied in the power of mechanical force and because of this reason the title of technical officer was born.

If people was asked about the technical office and what their job, people said in this line 'i don't know what this peole doing,', 'their're just a bunch of blind taxeater', ect. But everybody who become technical officer, Myrus included know the importance of this job. The job of technical officee was born because Mu uniqeness of rise to power. Because of this reason, technical office was established as a mean for the armed force to analys the technological progress of the other party.

The job of the techical officer was for armed force of Mu to analysis the technological power and content of the opposite power and hypotical enemies of Mu. Because of this, the technical officer of Mu must have a high knowledge of mechanical force and have broad mind and imagination to analysis the opposite force or hypotical enemies of Mu.

Before the arrival of Gra Valkas and them created chaos in second civilization, the technical officer of Mu just doing some shrip jobs, because they already knew the technical level of the know world. But, after the arrival of Gra Valkas changed this situation. The arrival of Gra Valkas Navy Granda Atlastar, the battle between Mu and Gra Valkas in the old border of Mu and Leforian made this look like incignificant technical officer became important.

The techincal officer Myrus and his colleague technical officer Myhark was in the process to analysis the Gra Valkas ship Granda Atlastar when the 'Battle of the Border' between Mu and Gra Valkas was over. The result of this battle was shocked Mu military higher-up to the core. The appireance of Granda Atlastar and the result of the 'Battle of the Border' made the Mu higher-up injecting a large amount of money to the military project and military build-up, so the next time Mu and Gra Valkas clash once again, Mu can gain some advantage in the next battle.

When thingking about all of this and see the magic photo of Grada Atlastar and the report of 'Battle of the Border', technical officer Myrus now begin to speak to his colleague.

"What do you think about the report from the battle and the magic photo that our man can capture from Granda Atlastar?" his colleague, technical officer Myhark said to technical officer Myrus when his hand holding the magic photo and reading the report at the same time.

"Well the report stated many thing. The appereance of armoured wagon, the monoplane armed with autocannon. That was a really game changer in the battlefield."
