It was early in the morning, around 6 AM, the sun had newly risen and the beautiful reflection of its rays shine on the ocean. What a peaceful morning it was, a perfect time to walk on the beach and spend some romantic time together.
Walking side by side, a group of teens were surrounding a crying voice. It was the weeping tears of a lost child.
Crouching down, the girl with the ponytail, Narumi, spoke gently to the child.
"What's wrong kid? Are you lost?"
Trying to muffle her hics and sobs, the brown-haired girl nodded, "I- I want mama. . ." The girl sniffled. Narumi glanced at the others with a sad look, Hana and Ai nodded their heads, while Oika rolled her eyes in exhaustion.
'Here we go again,' She thought tiredly at the group's antics.
"Then, let's go on a hunt and find your mama!!!"
""Yeahh!!!""
The three friends exclaimed excitedly, ready to go off on another adventure that Oika may have to deal with once again. Seeing this positive response from the older girls, the child also calmed herself down and raised her fist in a somewhat thrilled shout, "Y-yah!" She adorable sniffled.
"Well, let us depart!--"
But before the three friends and one reluctant companion could even head off to search for the mother, a monotone voice sneaked up behind the group.
"Why the hell are you girls so loud in the morning?"
"Ah, Silvia-san!"
"Morning!~"
"We found a lost child!"
Ai, Hana and Narumi all excitedly greeted the grumpy morning lady.
Suspiciously looking at the trio, Silvia turned to Oika for confirmation they didn't suddenly kidnap a child. Seeing the girl in glasses nod, Silvia sighed and turned back to the chaotic three.
"Well, at least you're doing a good deed," She indirectly praised the noisy trio. "Then, let's see then. . ." Muttering to herself, Silvia glanced behind the four girls to take a look at the lost child.
To her surprise, she recognized who exactly the girl was and Silvia was immediately sent in a panic.
"Kotone, what are you doing here!?"
Quickly picking up the girl, Silvia comforted Kotone. Rocking her side to side subconsciously like her parents once did to her.
"S- Saeko-oneechan. . ."
"It's Silvia. . . nevermind that, what are you doing here all alone," Silvia asked worriedly, extremely different from how she usually acts. It wasn't every day that you'd see your sister all alone on the beach so early in the morning without a companion.
If that wasn't a dangerous situation for a child, she didn't know what was.
Feeling warm hands wrap around her small body, Kotone brought her small arms around Silvia's neck and slowly fell asleep. It seems like she was extremely exhausted from the emotional stress.
Noticing the concern of their silver-haired friend, the girls gathered around Silvia and started asking questions.
"Do you know who she is, Silvia-san?"
"Did you have an affair!?"
"No, maybe it's their child!"
"No you moron, it's her sister."
Quickly bringing down a smack on her friend's head, Oika straightened out the group and had them properly listen to Silvia.
"My entire family came here for a vacation, this kid, Kotone, should have been with our parents. So, where the hell are they. ."
Almost like it was intentional, you could see two familiar people from afar. Observing that those two people were her parents, Silvia waved at them and approached closer.
"Oh thank God, Silvia you found her!"
"I thought I was going to have a heart attack."
"I should be the one saying that. . ."
Taking a closer look at her parents, both Rei and Kana were sweaty and disheveled. Kana was particularly pale, she was obviously in a state of disarray. Rei on the other hand held a clear panic yet a look of relief on her face. It was a very stressful event for everyone.

Taking a seat inside Silvia and Saeko's room, the three conversed about the earlier incident while Saeko entertained the other four guests.
"Why was she all alone in the first place?" Silvia asked, carefully placing down the sleeping Kotone on a soft sofa.
Taking a sip of water, Kana sighed, "We were still waking up and getting prepared to get some breakfast when Kotone suddenly ran out of the room and to the beach to play."
"At that time, I was still in the bathroom and didn't know she had run off," Rei added. "I tried running after her, but I wasn't fast enough, I seriously need to exercise more. . " Kana quipped regretfully to which Rei nodded.
"I'm guessing by the time you both got out to try and run after her, she was out of your sight already?"
"Honestly, Sil-chan. You were too good of a kid that I don't have any experience dealing with this kind of trouble."
"Don't put it on me, you should be thankful!!"
After a small banter between child and parents, Silvia sighed as she leaned on her chair. Looking at Rei and Kana, she felt a bit of pity. This was supposed to be a vacation and accidents can't be helped. .
So, extremely out of character of her, Silvia muttered slowly,
"Why don't I take care of Kotone for the rest of the day. . . ?"
Hearing that unbelievable suggestion from their lazy child, Kana and Rei couldn't but glance at each other in bewilderment.
". . .Who are you?" Rei asked seriously while Kana nodded and held her wife's hand in worry.
"I'm trying to be a good daughter here!" Silvia retorted. "Just take the day off and I'll deal with the brat!"
"Eh, but-"
"Another word and the deal is out!" Silvia cut off Kana's upcoming ridiculous question. 'Seriously, this is why I don't act like a good child to them, I'd just get teased and made fun of.' Silvia thought as Rei and Kana's date started.
