~Saeko's POV~

The ceremony had begun and everyone sat in their seats. Families of my classmates were present behind us, watching idly and listening to the school principal.

I wasn't worried that Silvia would be late or wouldn't be able to attend, it was Haru-chan I was worried about.

She was a goofball and she normally doesn't care about ceremonies like this. I even had to force her to attend our recognition the previous year.

"Haa~ I hope she at least tries to be in time." I sighed, but as I did I felt a hand grab the back of my shoulder somewhat roughly.

"HAA- HA~ Ha~ I made it, Saeko! "The person exclaimed. She looked so ragged as if she had run a mile right after taking a bath.

"Haru-chan!" I shouted albeit silently "Geez, you look such a mess. At least fix your clothes when you arrive."

"Gomen, I had to take a quick bath then run here. I didn't have the time, hehehe." She responded without a care in the world.

I could only smile wryly at this oddball as she started talking to our other classmates. She was laughing it off like nothing happened before she came here, considering what she and her family do for a living, it doesn't come as a surprise.

A few minutes pass and it was finally time for the students to receive their diplomas, and after a few months to a year of apprenticeship then we'll be able to have "Dr." officially written with our names.

(A/N Do note that the setting isn't as modern, normally it would be more complicated before you even become an official doctor.)

We were called by the group to proceed to the front and receive the papers. Now having the surname Yuuno, I will most likely be called close to the last.

The first two classes had already received theirs and our batch was coming next, I know I said that I wasn't going to worry when Silvia would arrive, but there will always be a sense of longing.

It was only a few moments later that I would be called forward,

And she still wasn't there. . .

I calmly approach our principal as he handed me my diploma with a smile. His old white hair gave out an aura of wisdom, making a lot of people trust him.

"Congratulations Saeko, I look forward to your achievements in the future." He said with an assured tone.

"Thank you, principal." I nodded as I walked off with the others.

I was starting to feel a bit disheartened, I didn't really expect anything but you can't easily predict a woman's heart, can you? As if noticing my saddened look, Haru-chan's eyes wandered towards me and away from her other friends.

"Hey, what with that ugly expression of yours?" She said as she wrapped her arms around me, "Eyy, did someone not show up in time?"

I looked at my wacky friend and chucked, "I could say the same to you, Mahiru-san seems to be absent as well." Haru-chan's face quickly heated up like a boiling kettle and scratched the back of her head with a stupid grin.

"Hehehe, she told you didn't she?"

"No, I guessed."

Haru-chan's face suddenly came to a halt as she heard my words, "That's not fair! You totally tricked me into confessing that I like her!" Before I could say anything back, a familiar voice interrupted from behind

"--Did you hear that Kuu- Mahiru-san?"

". . .Shut up."

"Silvia!"

"M- Mahiru-san!"

Just behind us was Silvia and Mahiru-san carrying flowers and a few other unidentified items. Silvia held this teasing grin with her as Mahiru-san did her best to hide her reddening face. It was great seeing her here. . .

~Silvia's POV~

"Here I thought you were never coming,"  Saeko said with a lecturing look.

"Well, I knew I was going to be a bit late so I brought some back-up," I answered truthfully.

There was utterly no point in lying to Saeko as any excuses would most likely be found out, so I instead brought the things that would make her happy. I made haste to make myself look a bit presentable and bought celebratory gifts as soon as I went out of the house, but I didn't expect to meet the Kuudere maid on the way here.

I was expecting to be scolded a bit for being late but what I didn't expect was,

"It's fine, as long as you are here. ." she said in an endearing voice as she clenched the edge of my voice.

I felt like my heart skipped a few beats-- God that was adorable. It seems like the *Student council president can become so precious from time to time.

Looking at her expression made me want to hear more out from her. I wanted to tease her a bit more, but there were a lot of people already taking glances at us.

"Silvia-chan's showing off I see~"

"Haruki-dono, you don't have the high ground here."

"Ugh. . ."

Turning my head over to them, I let out a smile as I held hands with Saeko.

"Why don't we go out for food? My treat."

"Yes, why don't we?" Saeko agreed

"Hell yeah! Silvia-chan is treating me again!" That annoying thing cheered

"I would like some A-1 grade steak."     "--Oi"

"Kh, Khaha--"

Hearing our childish banter, everyone let out a laugh. Even that maid chuckled. We all happily left the building discussing the restaurant we wanted to go to. As everyone was having their merry time, I caught something at the edge of my eye.

It was the person I was all too familiar with.

It was Ezu-san, he was a retired guard from the family estate, he now works as a messenger for us while traveling wherever he goes.

It didn't take long for everyone to notice him.

"Dear, who is that?" Saeko asked curiously

"He's a good friend of ours," I said as I approached him.

Quickly handing me a letter, Ezu-san smiled kindly and left as quickly as he appeared.

"That old dude's weird," Haruki commented.

"He just doesn't like wasting time."

Opening the letter, my eyes widened in shock. It looked like it was written by Rei-kaasan as it was literally just one sentence, but what surprised me the most was the words written there. . .

<You're having a little sister. Come visit.>
