~Silvia's POV~

"Silvia!"

"Oh, there you are, I thought I went the wrong way," I said as I gave Saeko her bento.

She beamed with joy as she held her lunch box, her cheeks puffed up cutely while she looked at me with her sparkling blue eyes. I felt like I could stare at her all day erupting from joy just because of a simple bento delivery.

What?

You expected this cliché didn't you?

Lovers low-key flirting at school. Well this wasn't purely my intention, I actually wanted to see Saeko in her natural environment at school as a way to also get to know her. But thinking about it now, that does sound a bit creepy. Anyway, I really didn't have any proper excuse to go to her school, so I must thank her carelessness for leaving her lunch at home.

A while ago, I saw this box wrapped in a decorative handkerchief sitting on the table looking lonely, and by anime instinct, I knew Saeko forgot her lunch.

So I might as well take this opportunity.

The walk here wasn't very far, but it took at least 10 minutes or so of casual walking. When I arrived, as if on cue, lunch time had begun.

Entering their campus, there were quite a few students who were starring at me, both men and women, were whispering to each other, some of them I could tell were looking a tinge red. I would dare say that I am not particularly dense in the areas of emotion, but I'm seriously gonna ignore that for less trouble.

The school wasn't enormous but it still had quite a bit of size to it, so I quickly realized that I was probably gonna get lost. However, after looking around for a bit, I noticed that there were signs and a map pointing me to the location I needed to be.

I was hoping to bump into Saeko, thinking she hasn't left her classroom yet, and thankfully I was right. As I turned the hallway, I immediately spotted her lovely peach hair and cute cat ears just behind another woman-- who had just bumped into me.

~~

Anyways, I was busy appreciating her cute smile and the bright eyes that kept avoiding mine. During these couple of months, I've quite gotten used to her presence, having even moved on from my insecurities of living with another person, so simply just enjoying the fact that she was there with me.

I can't stop staring at her, and there are times I wish could just dive in for a ki--

Before I could even finish my thought process, I felt a hard stare coming from the corner of the room. It was Saeko's friend who was standing beside me and looked to and fro from me to Saeko.

What's gotten her so confused?

And as if she had a lightbulb appear above her head, she smacked her fist into her palm and shouted,

"Ah! Your the fat old man with no income!"

"What . . ?"

What is going through this woman's head?

"Ahh--!" Hearing this woman's stupid words, Saeko quickly raised her hands up cutely in protest, "I'm sorry about her Silvia, she's the type of person who won't shut up."

"Hey!" <-- I ignored her

"I can tell. She's noisy."

"Oi!" <-- We ignored her again

"Hai~ I can't even stop her mouth from flapping up and down."

"That is extremely rude!" <-- No one cares anymore

I could feel the second pairs of ears above my head twitching from all the noise she was making.

"Haa~," I signed, massaging my shoulder and trying to drown out the woman's childish jokes. "So, where are you eating?" I feel exhausted just by being in her presence.

"We were thinking of eating at home until you came and brought me my lunch," Saeko answered in a somewhat sophisticated manner.

To be honest, when we met again, I was expecting Saeko to be shy and almost clueless about real life because of her delicate face and rounded eyes. But I couldn't be more wrong.

She was what you would call a cool yet cute beauty. Her semi-delicate appearance would fool you into thinking she was a sheltered girl who knew nothing of the world, and her bright peach-tinted hair further accentuated her tender aura. Not to mention her clear blue eyes that didn't seem to be capable to telling lies.

She was like a wolf in sheep's clothing, minus the danger.

To put it into magnificent internet literature, our duo is like Student Council president x Delinquent.

I, as the delinquent of course.

And so, as I glanced at her once more albeit briefly this time, I walked to her side and grabbed her arm, and said,

"Then, let's go to a café. My treat."

"Ohh!! What a kind old man!"

This woman is pissing me off.

Brushing that annoying cheer from the corner, I took a glance at Saeko's face. I saw a small blush forming.

That was enough to make me grin happily.

"Then, let's go."

"Right."

"Hell ya!!"

I'm having the urge to order nothing but water for this woman.
