"I think I'll stay a few more days," Zel's dad said as he sat down on one of the chairs by the pool.

As soon as he'd arrived yesterday, he'd barraged the other men with questions and hadn't let anyone off easy.

Apart from Pierre. He seemed to like him right away.  Maybe he reminded him of his son, or maybe it was Pierre's beauty, but he didn't find any reason to be mad at him.

They went back and forth arguing until Riley said to leave it to him.

Riley just had to breathe and he was hot, but when he used his smart mouth like that, he was freaking lava.

He had a one on one with Zel's father as everyone else watched. With his quick wit, he'd tired him out and Zel's dad had gone to sleep without another word.

He even managed to make Zel's father laugh against his will. Everyone could breath easy.

And now he wanted to stay a few more days.

"Absolutely not, you are leaving," answered Alexander.

"Okay," he said. "But right after you tell my sweetheart Zel. Or wait, should I do it?"

He was an evil man. Alexander was so irritated. "You–"

"Relax, I'm only joking," he waved his hand to calm Alexander down. "I finally made up my mind. You really love him don't you?"

"More than you know," said Alexander.

"And at the same time you love the others? The same way?" He asked again.

"That's right," said Alexander.

"I don't get it but I'm trying to," he said. "I know my son, well enough to understand that he's really fallen, for quite a number of people."

Alexander scoffed. "You make it sound like we're a thousand or something."

Zel's father patted the seat next to his. "Have a seat son," he said. That was a first.

Alexander sat next to him cautiously. He never knew what came next with this man.

"You said you'd never hurt him again," he told Alexander.

"And I meant it," he replied.

"Has Zel met your parents? Where are they?" He asked.

"My mom passed away when I was little," said Alexander. He didn't realize the change of his voice, or the far away look in his eyes. "My dad is somewhere out there spending his money, staying as far away as possible, from his shitty son." He smiled.

He hoped Zel's dad understood and let it go.

"Well he's wrong," he said.

"What?" Alexander asked.

"That's not right," he said to Alexander. "The only thing that exists, is a shitty parent."

"What are you doing," Jet found Zel with his face plastered to the glass door. When he looked out he saw Alexander sitting next to his dad.
