"Y/N! Dinner's ready," Jungkook shouted and you ran downstairs as fast as you could because the smell reminded you of your mom.

Needless to say you loved Jungkook's food.

And you will not believe who were your guests that evening.

Yes, Yun Hee and Taehyung.

"Oh, how sweet of you Jungkook. I didn't know that you were such a good cook. I guess you and Jimin are the chefs. Taehyung never cooked anything for me," she shrugged, cleared her throat and twirled the wine glass.

"Jimin is my favourite out of you three brothers. He's a good dancer, a good cook, affectionate and probably the nicest."

You eyed Taehyung, clenching his knife and eyes fixated on his plate.

Jungkook smiled, "Of course, Jimin hyung sure is fantastic! But how did you know he used to dance? You guys were that close?"

"Yeah, we met high school. And through him, I got to meet Taehyung."

"The food is delicious Jungkook, I'm glad you begged me to come over."

Everyone laughed lightheartedly.

Jungkook poured more wine into your glass, and you both exchanged a warm smile.

There was this similarity between Jimin and Jungkook. They pay close attention to people around them. And you believed that this was what made them so likeable.

Although things seemed just right between you and Jungkook, you couldn't say the same for the couple.

There was some sort of tension you couldn't read.

So, you decided to talk to Jungkook about it after they left.

"There you go, your favourite," Jungkook handed you your ice cream cone.

"The door to the balcony was wide open on that summer evening.

The yellow lights began turning on as the night settles in.

"I never knew Yun Hee was close to Jimin,"you faced Jungkook who stood a few inches away from you.

He looked back at you, corners of his mouth turned upwards.

And can we admit that that man is a confident one.

So guess who broke the eye contact? Yes, our quirky Y/N.

He scoffed, "Why? Jimin never told you? I thought he was closer to you than his own brothers."

"Well, I think it was irrelevant for me to lnow about that."

"Or you wouldn't have been able to handle it."

"What do you mean?" Your eyebrows furrowed.

"Why would I tell you?" He chuckled.

"Oh come on Jungkook! I'll do anything, I really want to know. Were they best friends  or something?"

Jungkook bent down and pointed to his cheek, "I want a reward first."

You kissed him and punched his arm, "Now tell me."

"They dated back in high school."

Your jaw dropped.

"Bruh..."

"Thank god Jimin didn't tell you. You would have killed him."

"And what makes you say that, you people behaviour analyst or whatever?"

"You dislike Yun Hee, don't you?"

You shrugged, "Not really."

"Hurry, your ice cream's melting," Jungkook gave you a napkin.

"Why that face Taehyung?" Yun Hee looked over at Taehyung who was tapping aimlessly at his keyboard, obviously bothered.

"Why did you say that I never cooked for you?"

"I don't know, you were not talking much so I figured I could tease you a little."

"Is it fun to talk about your ex in front of your partner? Everytime Jimin's name is brought up in a conversation, you do your best to compare him to me."

"Well,sorry if it hurts you. But it's high time you agree that he treated me better than you do."

"You cheated on me with him,Yun Hee."

"And what about you? You were always hanging out with Y/N!"

"That doesn't mean I was cheating on you! I admit that I was not in my right mind after you got in contact with Jimin again. I felt lost, have you ever once thought about my feelings?"

"Right, I approached him first. I had no intentions of sleeping around with him."

"And does Y/N know about that? No, because she trusted Jimin. I couldn't face her after knowing this."

"Jungkook," you kissed him once more and asked," Can you tell me more about Yun Hee?"

He blushed, "The kiss was unnecessary but okay, I'm not complaining."

He shuffled on his seat, and sighed.

The night had fully settled in. The wind balanced out the temperature so there was no need for a fan.

"Before you appeared in this story, there was this secret affair going on between Yun Hee and Jimin. Of course, he never told me but I figured it out on my own. Taehyung also found out later on but he handled it well. And I think Yun Hee never told Jimin that Taehyung had found out. Jimin and Taehyung have always been distant, until you arrived of course, and this affair of Yun Hee probably made things even colder between them."

So many secrets...what else do I not know about?

"I swear your family is insane," you sighed.

"Do you wanna be a part of it?"Jungkook chuckled.
