Apparently the rooftop was the only place you could think of to get a breath of fresh air.

Great idea right?

That's what you thought two seconds ago.

"What are you doing here?"

Your backpack made a faint 'clink' sound as Taehyung dropped it next to you.

You looked at the keychain attached to your backpack; Jimin had gifted you that weird puppy in a yellow clothing keychain that he named Chimchim.

Taehyung settled down beside you,"I thought you already went home."

"But why are you here?"

"I don't know. I just felt like you would be here."

"Oh,how touching. I almost melted," you rolled your eyes and pulled your knees closer to your chest.

Taehyung chuckled and looked at the sky too while resting his head against the wall behind.

You admired how the sky was clear on one side then to your right it was getting darker and heavier.

"Damn,how sad."

"What is?"Taehyung faced you.

You pointed up,"The left side doesn't even know what's coming. Soon it'll be dark and gloomy just like the right side. Just like human beings right? We never know what awaits us."

"But it is always bright above those dark clouds. They are just like TV commercials. They will interrupt your favourite show for a few seconds that's all."

You sighed.

"It is going to be alright Y/N, even though I don't know what's going on inside your heart and mind."

A tear escaped from your eye, and you wished you hadn't wiped it right away, for you made it obvious that his words moved you.

His thumb gently swept the tear away from your cheek.

You sniffed, and got up.

"I gotta go now you expired coupon," you grabbed your backpack and ran downstairs.

"Jimin, are you home?"

You kicked off your shoes, while waiting for his answer.

And let's not forget the deep sigh you had let out before opening your front door, hoping that you do not throw another fit.

"I missed you Y/N."

Jimin's backhug took you by surprise.

His hug made you feel empty. He was there yet he felt far away from you. The moment felt light and void, like pizza without the toppings kind of empty.

You knew that the act of affection was to apologise but it was futile. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn't escape the doubts you were having.

"I'm sorry Y/N," he rested his chin on your shoulder and you froze.

Unsure of a response other than accepting his apology, you simply nodded.

"Is that all you're going to say? Come on Y/N, we haven't spoken since morning."

You walked away to the living room, head down and shoulders hunched forward. It was clear that you didn't want to talk to Jimin.

Jimin picked up a glass vase and shattered it on the ground. You jumped from the couch and covered your mouth in shock. Your hand trembled and a slight shiver spread over your body. 

You had never seen Jimin react like this.

You cowered while Jimin kicked the coffee table in front of you.

He crouched down and grabbed your shoulders, " Look at me Y/N, look at me!"

You slowly met his eyes, sweaty palms glued to the sides of your head.

"Why are you being like this? I'm tired of this behaviour. "

"I have done nothing wrong."

"Nothing wrong? You've made things awkward between me and Taehyung. Now, you can't even see me hang out with my friend. Am I not allowed to do something else other than being your little puppy all day long. It is frustrating, seriously!"

The door bell rang just in time, when Jimin grabbed your jaw forcibly to fully face him.

"Who is it?"

"It's me, Taehyung. Can we talk for a minute?"

"What do you have to talk about?"

Taehyung peaked over Jimin's shoulder," What's wrong? Why is there all this mess?"

"Nothing, none of your business."

Taehyung pushed past him, visible frown on his face.

Jimin rolled his eyes and leaned against the wall, arms crossed.

"What happened Y/N?" His eyes glistened in the afternoon orange light streaming through the window.

"What did you do Jimin?" Taehyung shouted.

"Something that I should have done a long time ago. Get out of my sight Y/N!."

Taehyung pulled your arm, " Let's go Y/N."
