Shifting I (Kuroko no basket x reader)

{Too many old friends-}

(Y/N)'s POV:

       We were now at Kaijo High, walking and looking around "This place is huge" I nodded to whoever said that [Yeah, pretty sure I'd get lost. No wonder this is a private school] It's my first time entering such a big school and a private one too, back at home, I was in a public school but it did have a bad reputation, it wasn't small but it wasn't big either

      Not much, just buildings for our classroom, a hall and a canteen area. I was walking in between of Kuroko and Kagami, Keito was behind us "Kagami-kun, the look in your eyes is worst than usual" "Shut up" I look up at him "Jeez, you look dead, Kagami-kun" "I said shut up, woman" I pout

       "I was a little too excited" I snickered as I covered my mouth "What are you? A kid going on a field trip" "What'd you say?" I laughed at that "Oi! Stop laughing!" "Hey guys!" We look forward to see Kise ran towards us, waving "This place is big so I thought I'd come and get you" Riko bows and greets him 

       Kagami walks in front to talk to Kise but he walks in front of Kuroko and I, but of course, Keito moved me to the back and glared at him "Kurokocchi, (Y/N)cchi, ever since you turned down my invitation to join us, I've been crying into my pillow every night" he says as he rubs his eyes with his arm

      "Not even a girl has turned me down before" "Guess you were the first" Keito whispered and I giggled, nodding my head "Are you ignoring me?" Sad for you Kagami- "I would appreciate it if you didn't get so close to her and stop flirting with her, you already have those crazy fangirls" Keito said

     I felt someone hold my hand and I looked down, looking at who the hand belonged to and saw Kuroko, I jumped a bit "Seriously, where do you come from" he looks at me "I was here the whole time, (Y/N)-chan" right, of course he was

       I felt someone staring so I turned to look at Kise and noticed he was staring at our hands, so I let go of Kuroko's hand. Not knowing that he frowned but didn't mind it. "Can you stop being so sarcastic?" Wait, he was being sarcastic?

        "I'm interested to know more about-" he stands up straight--cause we're both short as hell-- and turns to look at Kagami "-the person who's making Kurokocchi say these things" He then walks to where Kagami is "I don't care much about being called Generation of Miracles but I can't ignore such an obvious challenge"

         "I'm not mature enough to let it slide-" "You're not mature at all" I mumbled but Keito and Kuroko heard and Keito snickered, Kuroko smiled "-Sorry, but I'm going to have to crush you with everything I have"

        We went inside their gym and noticed that we were using half of the court "You're here, welcome. I'm Coach Takeuchi" a male voice said "Which one of you is the coach?" "That's me, this is the assistant coach" I nod [I think I would be better as a manager-] 

        "You? You're not the manager?" he points at us, I glared a bit "I'm Coach Aida Riko, this is Kitagawa (Y/N)-" [She's doing the talking for me, thank you senpai] "-We look forward to playing with you today" we both bowed

       "So um...What is this?" she ask "Exactly what it looks like. We've only made simple arrangements for today's game" "Arrangements?" "Riko-senpai sounds pissed" I whispered at Keito and he nods "There won't be enough to learn from this game to make it worth watching for the guys sitting out"

       [Ah, so he thinks low of us] I looked at Riko and noticed her hands were trembling as she clutched the strap of her bag "I see" I flinched a bit "We're having the other players practice as usual so we don't have to waste time"

        I pat Riko on the shoulder "Despite the arrangements, you'll be playing our regulars. I hope you won't let us triple your score" and with that, he walks away. I keep patting her shoulder "Relax, Riko-senpai. We'll get him"
